Prominent DPR Commander ‘Givi’ ~ The legendary commander of the Somali battalion of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Mikhail Tolstykh, popular with his nickname “Givi” has been killed in his office in Donetsk.
The first reports from Russian media have suggested that an explosive detonated and killed Givi. The DPR officials have labeled it as a “terrorist act” and that they’ll do everything possible to find the ones behind the assault. The news comes as the self-proclaimed republics of DPR and LPR have been witnessing the largest military activities since the signing of the Minsk-2 agreement.
Givi is yet another victim of such assault as earlier this week LPR’s colonel Oleg Anashtenko died in a similar case when his car was blown up. In October 2016, another legendary commander, Aresen Pavlov “Motorola”, was killed in an explosion in his home.
A terrorist attack in the capital of the Lugansk People’s Republic in Donbass killed two people including the chief of the LPR People’s Militia Office. Confirmed the death of colonel Anashchenko, classifying the explosion as a terrorist attack.
On October 16, a blast in an elevator killed a prominent commander of the Donetsk People’s Republic colonel Arseniy Pavlov (call sign Motorola). The Donetsk authorities accused Kiev of masterminding the murder.
In May, a top military commander of the Lugansk People’s Republic, Alexei Mozgovoi, was assassinated by unknown gunmen when his car ran into an ambush……………

The Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Igor Pavlovsky, admitted during a press briefing today that the Ukrainian armed forces are carrying out offensive operations in Donbass.
“Today, no matter what, meter by meter, step by step and seizing the opportunity, our boys are heroically moving forward,” Pavlovsky stated while commenting on the situation in Avdeevka.
However, the minister did not comment on questions concerning Ukraine’s observance of the Minsk Agreements, in particular the agreement on withdrawing heavy weapons from the contact line.
The Donbass militia and Ukrainian security forces have both declared that the situation in Donbass has deteriorated.
In the city of Avdeevka under Ukrainian control, where more than 30,000 people reside, a state of emergency has been declared due to shelling.
A “difficult situation” also prevails in militia-controlled Yasinovataya and Donetsk. The Ministry of Defense of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic has stated that the UAF has launched six offensive attempts over the last 24 hours, losing more than 90 men in the process.
The Kremlin believes that it is the Ukrainian side that has opted for active combat operations in the Avdeevka area.
Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov told journalists today: “We are dealing with provocative actions by the armed forces of Ukraine and individual groups.” Peskov drew attention to the Ukrainian army’s words “advancing meter by meter.”
“This de facto confirms that these are offensive operations,” Peskov emphasized. According to him, Kiev’s policy is thus undermining the Minsk Agreements…………….

He came from Syria to help control the flood of volunteers arriving in Turkey from all over the world, wanting to join the global jihad. Now, he wanted to put me in touch with Ruslan, a “brother” fighting with Muslims in Ukraine.

At the same time, subdivision of Turkish mercenaries from the movement Grey Wolves arrived to Lugansk Schastie. Turkish mercenaries and fighters of Daesh are being brought from Syria to Ukrainian Herson. The amount of Turkish fighters in Ukraine is now over 700 people.

Ukrainian Right Sector militants, blocked in on the outskirts of Mukachevo after deadly clashes with police, are refusing to lay down their arms without their leader’s orders. Civilians in the area have been evacuated, as negotiations so far have failed.

L’11 luglio, presso Mukachevo, in Transcarpazia, nel caffè Antares del complesso sportivo Chervona Korka di proprietà del deputato Mikhail Lanio, scoppiava uno scontro a fuoco tra 21 neonazisti di Pravij Sektor e dei poliziotti.
I neonazisti, che avevano usato mitragliatrici e lanciagranate, erano venuti per discutere con i rappresentanti di Lanio la “redistribuzione delle sfere d’influenza” locali (contrabbando), ma la polizia giungeva sul posto per cercare di bloccarli. Almeno quattro morti (due neonazisti e due civili) e undici feriti (quattro neonazisti, cinque poliziotti e due civili) risultavano dagli scontri, mentre 3 auto e un posto di blocco della polizia, e un distributore di benzina, venivano distrutti.

Ultranationalist Right Sector activists and other Ukrainian radicals rallied in the center of Kiev on Friday. They called for a renewed military offensive to retake rebellious regions in the country’s East and the revocation of the Minsk Agreements.
Along with Right Sector members, fighters from nationalist volunteer battalions such as “Aidar,” “Donbass,” “Tornado,” and “Azov” marched through the center of the Ukrainian capital.

In a course of a law enforcement operation one of the members of this DRG was killed. Currently we are trying to establish his identity, his unit and connections. At least one civilian has been killed in the eastern Ukrainian city of Donetsk after the Kiev army was bombing apartments and buildings in a civilian populated area.
In the mean time, the citizens of Eastern Ukraine are seriously worried because, thanks to the shelling by Kiev militias on civilian infrastructures, some areas are dangerously short of clean drinking water.
All these are Crime Against Humanity, for which the Kiev putschists will pay a high price in front of the ICC and in front of the Ukrainian people.

Pro-Kiev forces continue building up heavy armaments in the zone of conflict, Eduard Basurin, a deputy chief commander of the corps at the Defense Ministry of the Donetsk People’s Republic told reporters on Wednesday.
“Intelligence services of the DPR self-defense forces have registered movements of BM-21 multiple rocket launcher systems, infantry combat vehicles, and self-propelled artillery mounts towards the line of contact,” he said.
Also, Basurin pointed out intensification of activity of subversive groups, which again used mortars as they shelled residential districts towns and villages.

“We will fight to the last drop of blood,” Petro Poroshenko said in an interview to the German TV channel ZDF.
Poroshenko has been accusing Russia of invading his country since the start of the conflict by supporting rebel forces of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. The claims are echoed by the US and other NATO powers, but to date no solid proof has been provided. Moscow denies the accusations.
Mr Poroshenko, for his own political purposes, probably to rally people in the western Ukraine, has decided to target Russia as the bad guy. It’s a very simplistic way of looking at things, but what’s even more simplistic is to expect the several million people that live in Lugansk and Donetsk to accept being placed under the rule of a country that’s killed and maimed tens of thousands of their people.

Three militiamen have been injured over the past 24 hours in shelling of Donetsk People’s Republic. Ukrainian military action has violated ceasefire arrangements in the war-torn region some 46 times in 24 hours, spokesman Eduard Basurinclaimed.
Shelling has been recorded near the settlements of Gorlovka, Shirokino, Spartak, Zhabichevo, Sakhanka, Lozovoye, Novaya Maryevka, Altnoye, Oktyabr, Donetsk airport and Volvo-Centre district.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said that the military operation in Ukraine would be stopped when Kiev regained control of Crimea and Donbas territories.
The Ukrainian president added that combat operations in the conflict zone would be carried out “for as long as it is necessary.”
Crimea seceded from Ukraine and reunified with Russia in March 2014 following a referendum, in which more than 96 percent of the peninsula’s population voted to rejoin Russia.
A month later, Kiev launched a military operation in Ukraine’s eastern regions against local independence supporters who refused to recognize the new government that came to power after a February coup.
