Some of the military aid sent to the Syrian opposition by Qatar, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the US may have ended up in the hands of Al-Qaeda-affiliated Al-Nusra terrorists, the Qatari foreign minister has admitted.

The revelations, which are the first of their kind to emerge, were contained in a statement by Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, who served as Qatari foreign minister between 1992 and 2013.

When the conflict started in Syria back in 2011, Hamad bin Jassim said that he went straight to the late Saudi King Abdullah, who then supported Doha’s plan on Syria.

While Qatar is now being accused by the Gulf kingdoms of backing terrorism, Hamad bin Jassim insists that when the Syrian crisis broke out, Doha, Riyadh and Washington were “in one and the same trench” in their vision on supporting anti-Assad militants.

He made the comments during a television interview with Qatar TV in October.

According to the former minister, all aid destined for the Syrian rebels passed via Turkey and was coordinated with the US forces. 

“All aid distributed on Syrian territory was also coordinated by the US forces,” said Hamad bin Jassim who also served as Qatari prime minister between 2007 and 2013.

He did not specify who exactly was to receive the aid, but the US – together with Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey – have repeatedly voiced their support for Syrian opposition and issued both humanitarian and military aid to anti-government militants… … …

Emboldened by U.S. backing Saudi Arabia launched a campaign to finally subjugate Qatar into client state status. The plan has now reached a high point. A few hours ago Bahrain, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia severed all ties with Qatar.

The Saudis accuse Qatar of supporting terrorists. That is like Britain accusing the U.S. of imperialism, or the mafia cutting ties with the mob over gangsterism. As Joe Biden remarked (vid) when still Vice President, both Wahhabi countries, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, have been funding and fueling terrorism in Syria, Iraq and elsewhere. But the Saudi view is that the more “liberal” Qatar is simply supporting the “wrong” kind of terrorists.

The U.S. military has huge interests in Qatar and other Gulf countries. Al-Udeid in Qatar is the biggest U.S. airbase in the Middle East. It is also the forward headquarter of the U.S. Central Command with some 10,000 U.S. soldiers……

The extreme bullying of Qatar by the Saudis and the UAE, with total closure of all its borders, is designed to create an immediate capitulation. So far Qatar holds onto its course but in the end it is likely to fold. It will have to stop its support for “terrorism” i.e. the Muslim Brotherhood. Another scenario is a putsch in Doha with some Saudi puppet prepared to take over the realm. If that is unsuccessful a military move could follow. Qatar has little capabilities to withstand a potential Saudi invasion.

For Iran this is a chance to further blow up the GCC by intensifying its relations with Qatar. It could increase its food exports to the country and host Qatar airline flights. This in exchange for a Qatari retreat from Syria. The U.S./Saudi plan of confronting Iran through the GCC would then be in complete jeopardy……………..

USA-TURKEY: On August 24, Turkish forces, backed by US-led coalition aircraft, began a military operation dubbed Euphrates Shield to clear the Syrian border town of Jarabulus and the surrounding area of the Daesh, outlawed in Russia and many other countries.

As Jarabulus was retaken, the joint forces of Ankara, the coalition and Syrian rebels continued the offensive southwest.

The operation has been widely criticized both by the Syrian Kurds and Damascus accusing Ankara of violating Syria’s territorial integrity.

“The United States supports Daesh (Islamic State/ISIS/ISIL/IS) and is investing in terrorism. The major evidence is the incident when [US Air Force] carried out a strike on the Syrian army units in Deir ez-Zor, which paved the way for Daesh offensive on a military airfield,” Brig. Gen. Samir Suleiman, Head of the Media Affairs of the Syrian Army’s Political Office, said.

As for Turkey, Suleiman said it was rendering full-fledged assistance to terrorist groups in terms of weapons, experts that were engaged in fighting with Syrian forces.

“Every time our army fights with terrorist groups in all regions of the country, in particular in Aleppo, this means that it fights, although not directly, against Turkey.”

QATAR: The Foreign and Expatriates Ministry on Monday stressed that the statements of Qatar in which it confirmed it will continue supplying terrorists with weapons are nothing but an attempt at raising the morale of the terrorist groups which are faltering due to the defeats they suffer at the hands of the Syrian Arab Army.

At least 48 people were killed and over hundred injured in a twin terrorist car-bombing Sunday near al-Arman neighborhood entrance at al-Siteen street in Homs city, but the number is expected to grow, due to the many serious injuries.

Local ‘Syrian Arab News Agency’ reporters said earlier that 14 people were killed and tens were injured in a twin terrorist car-bombing attack, but unfortunately the number of victims has grown rapidly.

Witnesses said at least one of the two blasts was triggered by a suicide bomber driving a car.

RIA Novosti News Agency cites a medical official who estimated a higher casualty number, saying the attack has claimed at least 46 lives and injured as many as 110.

The Syrian Government Cabinet condemned the two terrorist bombings that hit Homs city and claimed the lives of many, too many, Syrians.

Syria accuses Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Qatar (…and their Zionist master…with its NATO, USA puppet-regimes…) of funding and arming terrorist groups operating inside the country, including Daesh.

Sources revealed that Riyadh is holding training courses for 150,000 Saudi, Sudanese, Egyptian and Jordanian forces to prepare them for war in Syria.

Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and Expatriates Minister Walid al-Moallem affirmed that Saudi Arabia’s financial and military support to the terrorists in Syria will hamper international attempts to resolve the Syrian crisis.

The Syrian Foreign Ministry blames Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey for the ongoing terrorist attacks across the Arab nation.
In two letters sent to the UN Secretary General and the President of the UN Security Council, the ministry has said that Riyadh, Ankara and Doha generously fund and arm the terrorists. It added that such a support is a flagrant violation of a number of UN resolutions.
The ministry also slammed the United States, France and Britain for preventing the UN Security Council from adopting serious measures in condemnation of terrorist crimes in Syria. It added that such inaction would further embolden the terrorists to escalate their violence.

In an interview with Russian media, a Daesh terrorist captured by Kurdish fighters in northern Syria makes shocking revelations about Turkey’s links with the terrorist group. Twenty-year-old Abdurrahman Abdulhadi says he received training in a camp in Turkey. Abdulhadi added that Turkish commanders were among the trainers whose teachings were translated for ISIL newcomers.

Lieutenant Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Hossein Salami underlined that the Syrian army’s recent military victories meant the failure of the policies of the West and its regional allies, specially Turkey and Saudi Arabia, in Syria.

“The policy of the US, Europe, Turkey and Saudi Arabia have been buried in Syria,” General Salami said

In relevant remarks Commander of the IRGC Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari reiterated that Tehran will continue support for Syria, specially President Assad himself as he believes in resistance against the US and Israel.

“President Assad wholeheartedly believes in the resistance front and standing up against the global arrogance and the West; we do not know anyone else to replace him,” General Jafari said.

He underlined that Syria’s resistance relies on Bashar Assad, and said, “It is for the same reason that the enemy urges us to compromise Assad and win everything else that we want, in return.”

With the announcement of US special forces joining Western-backed militants on the ground in Syria, many still appear confused as to exactly what the implications of this move are.

As if to assure the public that indeed, the move is to use the so-called Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL) as a pretext to invade and occupy Syrian territory, the Washington Post has published an article explaining the move in detail titled, “Obama has strategy for Syria, but it faces major obstacles.”

Of course, it should be noted that Turkey itself has been a NATO member since the 1950’s, with a US airbase located on Turkish territory at Incirlik for nearly as long. Since the war started in Syria in 2011, the US has admittedly operated along the Turkish-Syrian border. The New York Times and the Washington Post itself has reported on numerous occasions regarding the US Central Intelligence Agency steering weapons to militant groups across this very border.

There are also multi-billion dollar refugee camps built in a joint effort between Western governments and nongovernmental organizations and the Turkish government itself along the border, as well as US-run training camps for “moderate rebels.”

The question becomes then, if ISIS is receiving the summation of its “foreign fighters, money, and materiael” from Turkey, and the US is operating all along the Turkish border, why isn’t it being interdicted before it reaches Syria?

800 Colombian mercenaries to join Saudi-led occupation forces in Yemen

At least 800 Colombian nationals could soon be fighting alongside the Saudi-led coalition against Yemenis, with dozens likely already in the war-torn Middle Eastern country, a Latin American paper disclosed.

Over 800 Colombian mercenaries could take up front-line positions in Yemen under the Saudi command, the Colombian newspaper El Tiempo said in a report.

The troops are expected to be involved in an ongoing offensive against the revolutionary forces, which currently hold Yemen’s capital, Sana’a.

THE ROOTS OF THE WAR IN SYRIA IS CENTERED IN THE DEVELOPMENT, SUPPLY AND CONTROL OF OIL AND NATURAL GAS RESERVES IN MIDDLE EASTERN COUNTRIES AND THE PIPELINES NEEDED TO SEND THEM PRIMARILY TO EUROPE.

Qatar is the world’s leading exporter of liquefied natural gas. Yet liquefaction and shipping increase total costs and, particularly as gas prices have slipped, Qatari gas has remained easily undercut in European markets by cheaper pipeline gas from Russia and elsewhere. As a result, it would be highly beneficial to Qatar to be able to send their natural gas to Europe by a pipeline.

So in 2009, Qatar proposed to President Bashar Assad of Syria to build a pipeline to send its gas northwest via Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Syria which would eventually reach Europe. Two different routes for such a pipeline were possible. One would lead from Qatar through Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Iraq to Turkey. The other would go through Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria and on to Turkey.

Assad refused to agree to the proposal by Qatar to build a pipeline through Syria. A French newspaper report claimed Assad’s rationale was “to protect the interests of [his] Russian ally, which is Europe’s top supplier of natural gas.” For Qatar, the investment to build the pipeline would be billions of dollars up front but it would reduce its existing high transportation costs over the long term.

To complicate matters, Saudi Arabia was not interested in a gas pipeline from Qatar to go through its country. Saudi Arabia has a track record of obstructing regional pipeline projects and for decades has had a tense political relationship with Qatar.

In researching for this article, I came across the usual suspects, and the hundreds of charities they represent. So far, after looking at literally hundreds of charities collecting money from people around the world to help aid the innocent people of Syria, the legitimate ones are less than a handful.

None of them carrying the green red black colors are aiding the real Syrians, but aiding the terrorist organizations (or their supporters), in Syria.

I’ll show you a few to show you what I mean. Years ago, I did a video about this charity. Their facebook page has long since disappeared as many of the terrorists did. The people behind these charities now live in nice houses (some within Turkey), and elsewhere other than Syria.

This is the first I investigated. Prospect Park New Jersey mayor Mohamed T Khairullah supported this charity. Now, surprise! Because he supports the terrorists fighting against the legitimate Syrian government, and the innocent Syrians who support them. You will see him photographed wearing a scarf that bears the name of the charity.

A Palestinian-Jordanian terrorist affiliated to the “Muslim Brotherhood” admitted to involvement in terror acts and training terrorists in the Palestinian refugee camps and other areas in Syria.

Bishr Yousef Ali al-Janoudi stressed that the Palestinian movement Hamas was involved in the terror activities, in confessions aired by the Syrian Television on Thursday night.

Hamas, he said, had a project to build a brotherhood base in Syria.

Al-Janoudi, born in Kuwait in 1970, said he holds a Jordanian passport and that he pledged allegiance to the “Muslim Brotherhood” in 1989, where after he travelled to Pakistan and studied at the Islamic University until 1996, before he returned to Jordan to work there at the Muslim Brotherhood center in Amman.

He added that he later worked for the “Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas”, where he came to work directly under its leader Khaled Meshaal in Jordan until Hamas’ offices were closed by the Jordanian authorities and its leadership members were sent away to Qatar.

A number of terrorist, who were caught recently in Aleppo , confessed to receive military training in Turkey by U.S, Saudi and Qatari personnel.

In interviews broadcast by the Syrian TV on Sunday, terrorist Ahmad Mustafa Mastari said he worked within a terrorist group for 4 months before attending a 45-day training course in Salqin, Idleb and later they headed to Turkey where they received military training by U.S, Saudi and Qatari personnel for 30 days and returned to Aleppo.

“I was among the force that attacked Jam’yat al-Zahraa in Aleppo, we were about 250 persons, but the operation failed and we were arrested by the army” Mastari said.

He added “I had fought in al-Qarmid camp, Wadi al-Daif in Idleb, Kifr Nabouda in Hama and later we went to Saladin neighborhood in Aleppo where we were shelling the area, then putting the dead bodies inside the buildings”.

Taking advantage of a Syrian military stretched thin to protect everywhere at the same time, high concentrations of well-coordinated Al Qaeda forces, based in NATO-member Turkey as well as in US-allies Jordan and Saudi Arabia, have attacked across several fronts. The tactical and strategic gains are minimal compared to the initial stages of the West’s proxy war against Syria beginning in 2011, but the Western media is intentionally fanning the flames of hysteria specifically to break both support for Syria from abroad, and fracture resistance from within.

However, now, there is a US Department of Defense (DoD) document confirming without doubt that the so-called “Syrian opposition” is Al Qaeda, including the so-called “Islamic State” (ISIS), and that the opposition’s supporters – the West, Turkey, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar – specifically sought to establish safe havens in Iraq and eastern Syria, precisely where ISIS is now based.

Despite the Western narrative of “moderate rebels,” the West itself has been increasingly admitting that such “rebels” do not exist. They also admit that to establish “stability,” they must begin openly working with “questionable actors.”

Syria’s Permanent Representative to the UN Bashar al-Jafari said that Al-Jazeera’s interview with the leader of Al-Nusra Front terrorist group Mohamad al-Golani violated UN counterterrorism resolutions and was aimed at encouraging terrorism.

“The interview was used to promote terrorism and make threats to the government and people in Syria,” al-Jafari said, addressing a meeting of the UN Security Council in New York on Thursday.

“It is clear that the Qatari regime is seeking to clean up the image of the Nusra Front through this interview with the head of a terrorist group that has been blacklisted by the UN Security Council,” he added.

In a remarkable outburst, the Turkish FM Mevlut Cavusoglu publicly stated the US & Turkish regimes would provide air cover to their terrorists who are trying to illegally overthrow the Syrian government, without being able to elaborate how.

Cavusoglu’s statement faces numerous obvious legal, practical and propaganda obstacles.

In legal terms his statement is (further) evidence of a criminal intent to commit war crimes.

In practice it would be difficult for the US & Turkey to bomb Syrian civilians in major cities without exposing that contrary to their propaganda the Syrian ‘Opposition’ and ‘Islamic State’ terrorists are the one and same.

The US-led coalition now attempting to appear as though they are fighting ISIS knowingly aided the rise of the Islamic State for the purpose of isolating Assad and combating expanding Iranian influence.

At least as far back as August of 2012 the very same anti-IS coalition knew full well that the precursors to ISIS, al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) and Islamic State in Iraq (ISI), dominated the Syrian opposition along with other al-Qaeda affiliated groups.

They knew that AQI was declining during 2009-10, yet was resurrected due to the insurgency in Syria. In spite of this, the US and her allies continued to provide aid, funding, weaponry, and training to these same extremist groups, specifically seeing their rise (and the horrendous crimes against humanity that they partook in) as a strategic asset for their geopolitical aims.

The rise of the Islamic State was not only predicted, it was the expressed aim of the powers sponsoring the sectarian Syrian opposition for the purpose of opposing Assad and containing Iran. Despite the fact that the rise of an Islamic State was predicted to have dire consequences for Iraq, including the fall of Mosul and Ramadi, support from the US-coalition to the Syrian opposition continued to manifest, leading to the conclusion that this was either the expressed intent, or an accepted byproduct of these policy decisions.

In the battle to overthrow Bashar al-Assad, it is siding with Al Qaeda. This has become evident ever since Jisr Ash-Shughur, a small town in the northeastern part of the country, fell on April 25 to a Saudi and Turkish-backed coalition consisting of the Al-Nusra Front, Ahrar al Sham, and an array of smaller, more “moderate” factions as well.

Al Nusra, which is backed by Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, is Al Qaeda’s official Syrian affiliate. Ahrar al Sham, which is heavily favored by Qatar, is also linked with Al Qaeda and has also cooperated with ISIS. The other groups, which sport such monikers as the Coastal Division and the Sukur Al Ghab Brigades, are part of the U.S.-backed Free Syrian Army and are supposedly as anti-terrorist as they are anti-Assad. Yet they nonetheless “piggybacked” on the offensive, to use The Wall Street Journal’s term, doing everything they could to further the Al-Nusra-led advance.

Syrian army seizes Turkey-made weapons, ammunitions in Hasaka

The Syrian soldiers found the Turkish weapons and ammunitions in Gweiran neighborhood in the Southern part of Hasaka city.

On Saturday, the Syrian foreign ministry sent two letters to the UN secretary-general and the head of the UN Security Council and called them to do their best to prevent certain countries from sending arm shipments to the rebel groups in the country.

The ministry, in its letters, called on the UN to persuade the Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, France and the US to end their military and financial support for the antigovernment armed groups in the country.
