Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Fayssal Mikdad affirmed that the accusations, claims and lies about the alleged use of chemical weapons by the Syrian government aim at defaming the Syrian Arab Republic in front of the international public opinion and finding justifications that serve the Zionist entity and its interests in the region, in addition to prolonging the crisis especially after the achievements made by the Syrian Arab Army and its allies in the war on terrorism.
“I affirm in the name of the Syrian Arab Republic that Syria disposed of its chemical program completely. There are no longer any chemical weapons in Syria, or any toxic chemical materials or gases that could be used in military operations,” said Mikdad.
Mikdad affirmed that the second purpose of the US immoral, aggressive, and bloody act was to prevent Syria from achieving any victory over terrorism because the US and its agents in the region have invested in terrorism as any merchant who invests his money in building facilities to increase his income.
“We formed a Syrian investigation committee and the report of the committee is there in colored pictures which were submitted to us by our citizens in Khan Sheikhoun who saw and knew this game and that there was no use of any Sarin gas by the Syrian government and that it was the terrorist groups who used this gas to justify their low logic which comes in the framework of the campaign against Syria,” Mikdad said…………………..
Earlier this week, the White House claimed that the Syrian government was conducting “potential preparations” for a chemical weapons attack. The statement warned that if Damascus conducted a chemical attack Syrian President Bashar Assad and his military “will pay a heavy price.”
In addition, US President Donald Trump had a phone call with French leader Emmanuel Macron, in which the two leaders agreed to work together to find s response in case of a new chemical incident in Syria.
The French president said that Paris could launch unilateral air strikes against targets in Syria if a new chemical attack is carried out.
Moreover, British Defense Secretary Michael Fallon stated that London will support any retaliation by the United States for the use of chemical weapons in Syria.
In response, Damascus dismissed the allegations, calling them “misleading, false and baseless.”
“In terms of international law, this is political pressure over Damascus. It is in response to Syrian Army’s advances in eastern Syria. Washington’s accusations are a lie,” al Akkam told Sputnik Arabic.
“If the coalition continues to push with the issue of chemical weapons to justify its aggression against Syria, Damascus in coordination with Russia and Iran will deliver an unexpected response to this aggression,” al Akkam concluded………………………….
The US is actively preparing public opinion for a direct military aggression against Syria. The White House claimed on Monday that it has a “potential” evidence that the Bashar Assad government was preparing for another chemical weapons attack that “would likely result if the mass murder of civilians, including innocent children.” Press Secretary Sean Spicer said that if “Mr. Assad conducts another mass murder attack using chemical weapons, he and his military will pay a heavy price.” US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley further accused Russia and Iran for any future “chemical attacks” that may take place in Syria. However, no evidence was provided.
UK Defence Secretary Sir Michael Fallon said on Tuesday that the US had not shared any specific evidence with the British Government, but the UK is ready to support any US military actions against Syria.
Earlier this month, Army Col. Ryan Dillon, spokesman for the US-led coalition, admitted that the US and its allies had lost a race for the Syrian-Iraqi border to government forces and that the Pentagon has no problems with the anti-ISIS operation of the Syrian-Iranian-Russian alliance in the area. But, it looks that somebody in the White House has a problem with this.
Russia has slammed as “unacceptable” the U.S. threats against the legitimate leadership in Syria following a recent White House statement alleging that this leadership is planning a chemical attack.
“We heard about this statement. We don’t know what it’s based on. And, of course, we strongly disagree with the wording ‘another attack,” the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Novosti agency on Tuesday.
“We also consider any similar threats to the legitimate leadership of the Syrian Arab Republic unacceptable,” Peskov stressed.
“The Syrian government cannot be held accountable for the April 4 chemical attack in Idleb province “because, as you know, despite all Russia’s demands, an unbiased international investigation of the previous tragedy has not been carried out,” he added.
However, he noted that a potential danger of repeated provocations with chemical weapons use in Syria still exists as there is evidence that ISIS terrorists possess such arms…………….

(updated) At the Tillerson – Lavrov talks in Moscow last week, Russia’s Foreign Minister disagreed with the US Secretary of State in their stance on the use of chemical weapons by Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad. Russia stands for a full investigation to take place, prior to taking any kind of action. In his explanation Lavrov noted, that the only source of information on the Idlib gas attack comes from the widely discredited ‘White Helmets’ propagandists. No official investigation by international bodies, has taken place. Tillerson, on the other hand, is quite assured of Assad’s involvement in the attack, without questioning White Helmets’ evidence. Furthermore, Russia’s top diplomat made it quite clear that no more ‘regime changes’ are possible, citing the devastating examples of Yugoslavia, Iraq, Libya and Sudan. This week, the US Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, and UK Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Boris Johnson, were set to meet with Russia’s representatives in Moscow. Johnson has since pulled out of the meeting, in wake of the US airstrike on Syria, citing “Russia’s continued defence of the Assad regime.” While the backdrop to this meeting sets the stage to be particularly on edge, it is also true that to this day, no coherent foreign policy strategy has been made public on behalf of the Trump administration, and most certainly, no collusion has taken place with President Putin (despite the fake news rumours on CNN and BBC). Most notably, she claims that one of the components to the recent attack on Syria by the US, is to mask the humanitarian disaster that is Mosul, under a US-led counter-terrorism operation. Deep State problems: Putin warns of more chemical attacks
At Press Conference of Vladimir Putin and his Italian counterpart, Sergio Mattarella, the Russian President was asked for his view in regard to the US airstrike on Syria. His response revealed not a bashing of the new US administration, but the rivalries of the US “deep state” military-financial interests that potentially pressured President Trump into the airstrike on Syria. “Should anything go really wrong – Trump is who they will blame” – he said. Moreover, Putin told reporters that Russian intelligence indicates that terrorist factions operating in Syria are planning further chemical weapons attacks, likely in regions south of Damascus. These attacks will then be used as justification for more strikes against the Assad government. A day earlier, Fort Russ Editor in Chief, Joaquin Flores, stated the very same reasoning on RT talk-show CrossTalk Bullhorns. In his analysis, he explained that there are a lot more interests than meet the eye when it comes to the Idlib “chemical gas attack” and the subsequent US airstrike on Syria.

And secondly, Hersh COMPLETELY left off the fact that the barbaric, utterly satanic torture tactics used on Iraqis in that hellhole were in fact ‘Israeli’, taught to the American occupation military by IOF, Shin Bet, Mossad and Aman “experts” (read: torturers of Lebanese and Palestinians) brought in by the Jewish neocons Paul Wolfowitz, the aforementioned Feith, Richard “Prince of Darkness” Perle, William Schneider, Abram Shulsky (who ran the OSP) and others.
Hersh was absolutely destroyed for this abominable cover-up by the ever-brilliant, always-militant Professor James Petras in the fourth chapter (entitled Exposing the Exposé: Seymour Hersh and the Missing Zionist ‘Israeli’ Connection) of his must-read book “The Power of ‘Israel’ in the United States”.
The great investigative journalist Seymour Hersh, in two previous articles in the London Review of Books («Whose Sarin?» and «The Red Line and the Rat Line») has reported that the Obama Administration falsely blamed the government of Syria’s Bashar al-Assad for the sarin gas attack that Obama was trying to use as an excuse to invade Syria; and Hersh pointed to a report from British intelligence saying that the sarin that was used didn’t come from Assad’s stockpiles.
Hersh also said that a secret agreement in 2012 was reached between the Obama Administration and the leaders of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, to set up a sarin gas attack and blame it on Assad so that the US could invade and overthrow Assad.
For the first time, Hersh has implicated Hillary Clinton directly in this «rat line». In an interview with Alternet.org, Hersh was asked about the then-US-Secretary-of-State’s role in the Benghazi Libya US consulate’s operation to collect weapons from Libyan stockpiles and send them through Turkey into Syria for a set-up sarin-gas attack, to be blamed on Assad in order to ‘justify’ the US invading Syria, as the US had invaded Libya to eliminate Gaddafi.
The Saudi royal family, who own the world’s largest oil company, Aramco, don’t want to wait any longer. Obama is the first US President to have seriously tried to carry out their long-desired «regime change» in Syria, so as to enable not only the Sauds’ Trans-Arabian Pipeline to be built, but also to build through Syria the Qatar-Turkey Gas Pipeline that the Thani royal family (friends of the Sauds) who own Qatar want also to be built there. The US is allied with the Saud family (and with their friends, the royal families of Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, Bahrain, and Oman).
Last week two American F16s attacked the city of Aleppo in Syria, a city of 2.5 million people, one of the oldest inhabited cities on earth. Russia’s President Putin called the attack “strange” and questioned America’s motives. In the aftermath of the attack, the reasoning behind the seemingly bizarre assault has become clear:
America is trying to bring down the Assad government using germ warfare.
Syria’s natural water supply, the Euphrates River, carries cholera of course, but also dozens of waterborne illnesses totally resistant to antibiotics where even the best palliative care is unlikely to guarantee a favorable outcome.
The current attack, coinciding with both the refugee crisis in Europe and the large scale military operations that are cleansing Aleppo Province of coalition backed “moderate terrorists,” is in all probability what brought the Pentagon to the point of taking out Aleppo’s water purification facilities. America’s goal was to start a cholera epidemic in one of the largest cities in the Middle East, driving tens of thousands of refugees into the middle of a massive military operation against terror groups the Pentagon has been playing with for some time.
You see, cholera is a “gift that keeps on giving,” a massively infectious disease. A dozen cholera patients can overburden any clinic or even regional hospital. A dozen cholera carriers can, within days and under the right conditions, war and refugees for instance, recreate conditions not seen since the Middle Ages……..
