…Aujourd’hui, je répète que le gouvernement syrien est prêt à participer efficacement à tout effort sincère ayant pour but d’arriver à un règlement politique aux termes duquel les Syriens décident seuls de leur avenir et de leurs choix, par le dialogue entre Syriens, sous direction syrienne, sans ingérence extérieure et selon des modalités garantissant la souveraineté, l’indépendance, l’unité et l’intégrité territoriale de la Syrie, telles que mentionnées dans le deuxième paragraphe de l’introduction à la résolution 2268 adoptée à l’instant….

…Quant aux Syriens, Monsieur le Président, ils sont invités à travailler au renforcement de la réconciliation nationale et à la mobilisation de tous les efforts afin de vaincre le terrorisme, de reconstruire le pays, une nouvelle Syrie une et indivisible aussi bien au niveau de son peuple que de sa géographie, et de préserver sa souveraineté et son indépendance nationale…

…Qui est le chef du Front al-Nosra ? C’est Al-Joulani, anciennement bras droit d’Al-Baghdadi, le chef de Daech [EIIL ou EI], dont il s’est séparé pour créer le «Front al-Nosra en Syrie ». Nous parlons toujours de l’Organisation Al-Qaïda…

France, the United States and Britain have rejected the text of a Russian-drafted UN resolution aimed at putting an end to Turkey’s military actions and provocations in Syria.

French Ambassador to the UN Francois Delattre claimed Moscow’s backing of Syrian forces had led to a dangerous escalation in the war.

Meanwhile, US Ambassador to the UN Samantha Power said the draft would distract the world, adding Moscow should instead focus on implementing a UN resolution passed in December that endorsed an international road map for a Syria peace process.

Turkey has called for a joint ground operation in Syria, insisting it is the only way to stop the country’s five-year war.

This as the country stands accused of fuelling the war by supporting terrorist groups like Daesh and Nusra Front.

The turkish regime of Erdogan is a rogue state, which directly manages international terrorism, and who is allied with this rogue state is an accomplice, directly or indirectly, of the crimes committed by terrorist mercenary gangs of Daesh-ISIS, al-Nusra Front, … … …, which the Erdogan’s regime supports.

The UN demanded that Israel comply with the international legitimacy’s resolutions on the occupied Syrian Golan, particularly the Security Council resolution no. 497 of 1981 that declared Israel’s decision to impose its laws and jurisdiction on the Golan as “null and void and without international legal effect”.

The UN’s demand came during the General Assembly’s seventieth session held Tuesday at which the Fourth Committee (Special Political and Decolonization) approved a draft resolution on “The occupied Syrian Golan”.

Following the adoption of the resolution, Syria’s Permanent Representative to the UN Bashar al-Jaafari said in a statement that Syria maintains its right to restore the occupied Golan fully and with all legitimate means enshrined in the UN Charter and the international law.

He added that the UN member states’ support for the resolution sent a clear message to Israel that it is merely no more than an occupying authority and that its occupation and human rights violations are unacceptable and must end immediately.

Iran and the world powers signed a long waited sum-up agreement and issued a statement after marathon talks in Vienna.

The agreement will be approved by the UN Security Council in a resolution that will call all its previous five sanctions resolution against Iran null and void and will take Iran off Chapter VII of the UN Charter.

Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani said: “certain parties to the nuclear talks to avoid claims that the agreement prevents Iran from developing nuclear bombs, because every one in the world knows that our Supreme Leader (Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei) has placed a religious ban on the development, use or acquisition of military nuclear technology and Iran has never been after atomic bombs”.

Based on the agreement, which has been concluded with due regard for Iran’s red lines, the world powers recognize Iran’s civilian nuclear program, including the country’s right to the complete nuclear cycle.

COMMUNIQUÉ DU Dr BACHAR AL-JAAFARI

Le Conseil de sécurité vient d’adopter une nouvelle résolution en relation avec ce que l’on désigne par « Le dossier chimique syrien » : la résolution 2209 [2]. Je me concentrerai sur certains points précis en rapport avec les interventions des délégués des USA, de la Grande Bretagne et de la France.

Le scénario auquel nous avons assisté aujourd’hui reflète les mauvaises intentions de ceux qui ont présenté ce projet de résolution et nous rappelle le cadeau que deux d’entre eux ont déjà offert au peuple irakien, lequel cadeau a abouti à l’invasion et à la destruction de leur pays suite à des allégations comparables portant sur un soi-disant « Programme d’armes chimiques ». Nous nous souvenons tous comment ils ont envahi et détruit l’Irak, sur la base d’accusations qui se sont révélées fausses et mensongères.

Certains États membres de ce Conseil n’ont pas intérêt à travailler au maintien de la paix et de la sécurité du monde en fournissant les efforts nécessaires pour parvenir, avec les autorités syriennes, à une solution pacifique de la crise en Syrie. Ils ont recours à tous les mécanismes disponibles aux Nations Unies, et au Conseil de sécurité, pour créer les prétextes dont ils ont besoin afin de poursuivre l’agression incessante contre la souveraineté syrienne.

By a recorded vote of 157 in favour to 7 against (Canada, Federated States of Micronesia, Israel, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Palau and United States), with 11 abstentions, the Committee approved “L.15” on Israeli settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and the occupied Syrian Golan.

According to that text, the Assembly, reaffirming that the Israeli settlements were illegal and an obstacle to peace and economic and social development, would reiterate its demand for the immediate and complete cessation of all such activities there. It would stress that a complete cessation of settlement activities was essential for salvaging the two-State solution on the basis of the pre-1967 borders…
