GAZA, (PIC, 1 November 2015) ~ Deputy head of Hamas’ political bureau, Ismail Haneyya, congratulated, on Sunday evening, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on having won an outright majority in the latest ballot vote. Haneyya said the result is “a victory for Turkey’s democracy, unity, stability, and security”.

GAZA, (PIC, 2 November 2015) ~ The Hamas Movement has congratulated the Turkish people and their leadership on the success of the Turkish parliamentary elections and urged them to keep supporting the Palestinian people and their national cause. “On this great occasion, we ask Allah to bestow upon the Turkish people more prosperity, progress and glory under the leadership of Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Justice and Development Party led by Ahmed Davutoglu”, Hamas stated in a press release on Sunday. Hamas described the Turkish elections as a victory for democracy and a “reflection of the state of stability and civilization in the capital of the Islamic caliphate”. The Justice and Development Party (AK Party) is set to lead Turkey alone once again after easily regaining a parliamentary majority in what premier Ahmet Davutoglu also called a “victory for democracy”.

GAZA, (PIC, 2 November 2015) ~ Political bureau head of Hamas, Khaled Mishaal, and the group’s deputy head, Ismail Haneyya, congratulated, on Sunday evening, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on having won an outright majority in the latest ballot vote. Mishaal wished that Turkey would achieve more stability, security, and welfare. He expressed hope that Turkey’s democratic process would serve the nation’s causes and Palestinians in the very best way possible. Mishaal further spoke by phone to the Turkish PM Ahmet Davutoglu and congratulated him on such a sweeping victory achieved by his party. Hamas deputy head, Ismail Haneyya, also hailed the AKP, branding the result “a victory for Turkey’s democracy, unity, stability, and security”.


Le Hamas appelle Ankara à soutenir le peuple palestinien et sa cause

(Sahar-TV, 2/11/2015) ~ Le mouvement du Hamas a appelé la Turquie et ses dirigeants à soutenir le peuple palestinien et sa cause jusqu’à la liberté et la libération.

“Nous profitons de cette occasion et nous supplions Allah de fournir le bien-être et le développement pour le peuple turc, sous la présidence de M. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, et l’AKP présidé par Ahmet Davuoglu, nous souhaitons que la question de Qods restera leur cause principale et de travailler comme d’habitude pour soutenir le peuple palestinien et sa cause juste jusqu’à la liberté, et la libération de la terre et les lieux saints en Palestine”, a déclaré le Hamas dans un communiqué publié le dimanche soir 1/11 pour féliciter les résultats des élections turques.

Le Hamas a également félicité l’AKP dirigé par Ahmet Davutoglu pour cette victoire.

(Deutsche Presse Agentur, 2/11/2015) ~ Palestinian Hamas movement described the win as a “Turkish democratic wedding”.

The group extended congratulations to Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, the nominal AKP leader.

Hamas said the victory was from God and hoped Turkey would help with the “liberation” of Palestine and Jerusalem.
