Homs, 22/1/2015 ~ Syrian authorities seized an amount of detonators that are used for making explosive devices hidden inside a vehicle on the international highway near Homs.

While searching the vehicle that was heading to Aleppo, authorities found 11 reels of blasting caps and 65 detonator boxes hidden inside it, a source in the province, located in central Syria.

Large amount of narcotic drugs were also found in the vehicle: four people who were aboard were arrested.

On January 11, authorities, in cooperation with the locals, found a depot containing various types of weapons and ammunition, some of which are Israeli-made, in Kafer’aya in the countryside of Homs.

Syrian Army repels terrorists’ attack on Kurmus village, kills ISIS terrorists in Homs countryside

Units of the army and armed forces on Thursday targeted terrorists’ gatherings and hideouts in Rahoum, Enq al-Hawa and Rajem al-Qaser villages in the eastern countryside of Homs province, eliminating large number of them and destroying their weapons and ammunition.

The terrorist gangs attacked a group of sheepherders in Jub al-Jarrah in the countryside of the province, killing one of them and injuring another. An army unit interfered and killed several terrorists while the others fled away to Enq al-Hawa village.

In the northern countryside of Homs, the army repelled a terrorists’ attack from Tal al-Dahab and Kafar Laha towns in al-Houla area on Kurmus village in the western countryside of Hama province. Several terrorists were killed during the attack.
Bassam Adnan Suleiman, Ghaiath Khudr Khansa, Said Ahmed al-Mousa, Amer Fawzi al-Najjar and Hassan Abdul-Salam Jumah were identified among the killed terrorists.

Yesterday, terrorists targeted Kurmus village with more than 15 mortar shells, claiming the life of one woman, in addition to damaging several houses as well as the electricity network in the town.

DAESH terrorists gangs committed a massacre against residents of Tal Maghas and Um Raqabeh villages in the western countryside of Hasaka province.

DAESH (ISIS) terrorists attacked with heavy weapons Tal Maghas and Um Raqabeh villages, 40 km from the center of the province, claiming the lives of several citizens and destroying their houses.

The locals added that the DAESH terrorists continued their brutal practices against innocent civilians and forced them to leave their homes as they sabotaged the churches and their antique contents.

Earlier, DAESH terrorists blew up the house of a civilian in al-Ashra village under the claim of taking part in repelling an attack by their organization on the village in west of Hasaka city.
