Correction! I was mistaken. The protests against the draft of Orthodox Jews in Israel was in March, 2014.
There were also protests in 2015 over Netanyahu’s speech in the US Congress, in which he claimed to speak as the emissary of the Jewish people.

There is a report fromPressTV on March 21, 2016, about protests against the Israeli regime but that is the only account of the protests I can find in any major news source.

The Orthodox Jews are not protesting against Zionism or the atrocities of the Zionist state. They are protesting a proposed law that would end their exemption from military service in Israel. While it is true that some Orthodox Jews oppose Israel and Zionism, that is not what they were protesting about in New York City in March, 2016.
