“The attack on 8th of February in northern-eastern Deir Ezzor, that the alliance illegally undertook against the Syrian national forces that were standing against ISIS terrorists, I emphasize this, the region where the Syrian national forces attacked ISIS was under the U.S. protection, north-east of Deir Elzor.

It’s a strip with 30 km in width and 65 km in length. IS, which we fought and destroyed, left this Deir Ez-Zor and Abu Kamal, with the U.S. protection and positioned itself at Iraq-Syrian borders.

When IS was attacked by Syrian popular forces, the Syrian forces were attacked by the American Air Force, which proves again and without doubt, the real mission of this coalition and the role that Washington plays in supporting ISIS.

Like it did earlier by targeting Syrian national forces in air force attacks at northern Jabal Al-tharda near Deir Elzor, on the 17/09/2016, allowing IS to occupy these regions.

Not to mention the deliberate destruction of 90 percent of the city of Raqqa.

This coalition has not felt to uphold its commitment to neutralize tens of thousands of mines left behind by Daesh after they left the region to continue their terroristic services under two banners: American in east of Euphrates and Turkish in northern Afrin.”

Lavrov pointed out that “the Americans have taken dangerous unilateral steps in the eastern bank of the Euphrates River, which seems to be an approach for undermining Syria’s territorial integrity”.

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova affirmed that the US military presence in Syria poses dangerous threat to the political process and territorial integrity of the country.

“The US illegal military presence on the Syrian lands is dangerous challenge before realizing safety and security there and preserving its territorial integrity,” Zakharova said at a weekly press conference on Thursday.

She added that the US exploits the pretext of the chemical weapons to undermine the political settlement to the crisis, saying that the US seems to be depending, in the previous period upon infiltrating uncertain information by some sides and other topics without any confirmed facts.

Syria’s Permanent Representative to the UN Bashar al-Jaafari stressed that since the beginning of the terrorist war imposed on Syria, the Syrian Government has been keen on delivering aid to those who deserve it in cooperation with the UN and the affiliated agencies.

Speaking at a session of the UN Security Council on the humanitarian situation in Syria, al-Jaafari said:
“comparing the briefings presented by some representatives with other ones show that some of the representatives know what is taking place in Syria and they are following up the development of the situation there while others are depending mainly on sayings, allegations and intelligence and media disputes which give the impression that what is taking place in Syria isn’t related to combating terrorism and that there is a humanitarian crisis in Syria caused by the Syrian Government”.

He added that the Syrian Government, since the beginning of the terrorist war imposed against it, has been keen on delivering aid to those who deserve it in cooperation with the UN and the affiliated agencies based on the principles which organize the humanitarian work, indicating that Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Mark Lowcock committed a mistake today when he didn’t speak about the cooperation with the Syrian Government,
“as if OCHA is dealing with ghosts in Syria and not with the an existing government.”

Al-Jaafari affirmed that it is the time to acknowledge that the main reason behind the crisis is the emergence and spread of the terrorist organizations, on top ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra and the affiliated groups, in addition to imposing coercive unilateral sanctions on the Syrian people in a way that made their life difficult and increased their suffering on the economic, social, humanitarian and health levels… … …

Head of the Syrian Arab Republic delegation to Geneva Bashar al-Jaafari announced on Friday the end of the official meetings within the 6th round of the intra-Syrian dialogue held in the Swiss city with a final session of talks the delegation held with the UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura.

In response to a question about the coincidence of the meeting with an American aggression and ISIS massacre against Syrians in addition to the ambition of achieving better results in this round, al-Jaafari said that the delegation discussed during today’s session the U.S. attack on one of the Syrian Arab Army’s military points on al-Tanf road in the Syrian Badia, which took place Thursday evening.

“Minutes ago, we talked extensively about the massacre committed by the US aggression on Thursday in my country .The important thing is that our political ambition is the highest in terms of concerns within all parties involved. Our ambition is supreme because we want to constantly focus on the fight against terrorism“, he said.

Al-Jaafari pointed out that terrorism, represented by terrorist groups and the terrorism committed by countries and governments against Syria which includes the US, French and British aggression whether against civil or military targets, as what happened in Manbaj city when the French bombed the city and killed 200 civilians or as in Raqqa when the US raided the Deaf and Dumb school and as happened in al-Tharda Mountain in Deir Ezzor or as happened yesterday also.

“At every meeting, we would like to remind the attendees that state terrorism is being practiced against our country,” he added………………
