…and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, also if very reluctantly, would seems is accepting it, even if Michael Bogdanov (Russian President’s Special Envoy and Deputy Foreign Minister) stated that “Only Syrians decide who would participate on talks in Geneva”. 

The blackmail with which John Kerry would threaten Lavrov would be to accuse Russia at the Security Council of the United Nations of wanting undermine the meetings of peace…while we know rather well that it is precisely the U.S. who want to boycott in any way the meeting in Geneva, trying to prolong as much as possible the armed conflicts by the mercenary gangs at their service (by Saudi-Turkish hands) and boosting the terrorist attacks against the Syrian population.

Moscow: Only Syrians decide who would participate in Geneva talks

(SANA) ~ Russian President’s Special Envoy, Deputy Foreign Minister Michael Bogdanov said that Geneva 3 talks are Syrian-Syrian, affirming that the Syrians alone have to decide who would participate in.

“UN envoy Staffan de Mistura would be Responsible for the formation of the opposition delegation, not Russia or Turkey,” Bogdanov said in a statement on Tuesday.

He added “Moscow doesn’t understand how Turkey could announce its boycott to the Syrian-Syrian talks while it won’t participate, neither Russia, nor the US or Saudi Arabia.”

The UN announced that its envoy de Mistura has sent invitations to the Syrian participants according to the terms of UNSC No. 2254.

US, Allies Appoint Bin Laden Admirer as Negotiator in Syria Talks

(FNA) ~ On the same day, when peace talks on Syria were to start, US Secretary of State John Kerry insisted that , Jeish al-Islam, the organization founded by Osama bin Laden admirer, Zahran Allouch, would represent the anti-Assad forces in the upcoming Syrian peace talks, and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov very reluctantly accepted.

Jeish al-Islam ex-leader Zahran Allouch in a speech in 2013 praised al-Qaeda founder Osama bin Laden, addressing the ex- leader by the honorific “sheikh” title, the Global Research wrote.

Allouch, who had founded and led the jihadist organization, Jeish al-Islam, also described the al-Qaeda affiliated organization al-Nusra Front as ’our brothers’.”

Al-Nusra had helped in carrying out a U.S.-Turkish-Saudi-Qatari arranged sarin gas attack in August 2013 that President Obama blamed on Assad and that Obama still cites as his reason and justification for bombing Assad’s army.

Even when Obama entered the White House in 2009, he was aiming to find a way to remove Syria’s President, Assad, from power. Setting up this gas-attack (and blaming it on Assad) turned out to be the way to make that possible.

Al Jazeera announced on 25 December 2015 that “Russian Air Raids Kill Prominent Rebel Commander” Allouch. Both Russia and Assad now will have to negotiate with his successor, Mohammad Allouch.

Even French leader Francois Hollande supports Allouch — despite the recent jihadist attacks in France. Apparently, anything to get rid of Russia’s ally Assad is accepted by Western leaders.

The Saudi royal family actually required Allouch to head the anti-Assad delegation. Even back in early December 2015, the Saudis were insisting on it, even knowing that Kerry and the rest of the West weren’t entirely comfortable with that demand.

Now, it seems a ‘compromise’ has been reached: there will be two heads: Allouch and another figure supported by the Saudis: Assad al-Zoubi. This is yet another example of the Saudi family’s leadership of the Western alliance against Russia and its allies.

Thus, on the one side of these peace talks will be Assad (the non-sectarian Shiite leader who is supported by the vast majority of Syrians and is also supported by Russia and by Iran); and, on the other side will be Zaroush and al-Zubi, two favorites of the Saud family (supported by the West, which is led by the Saud family, who financed Al Qaeda).

Lavrov faced a bad choice: either take the blame for preventing the peace talks, or else accept the Saud family’s ‘compromise’ position; and he chose the latter.
