Syrian Army eliminates more terrorists, destroys their positions in different areas across the country
(22 September 2016) ~ Syrian Army units on Thursday continued targeting terrorist organizations’ hideouts and positions across the country, killing and injuring a number of their members and destroying their fortifications and vehicles.
Homs
The Syrian Army Air Force destroyed Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS positions, weapons, vehicles and cars equipped with machineguns and killed a number of terrorists in Tair Ma’leh, Talbiseh, al-Rastan, Kisin, east of Palmyra and al-Sawaneh in the countryside of Homs.
Daraa
An army unit on Thursday carried out concentrated bombardments against dens and fortifications of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Bosra al-Sham City in the countryside of Daraa southern province.
A unit of the army destroyed a den of the terrorist organizations, and killed a number of terrorists in the area of the eastern corniche in Bosra al-Sham City, 40 km to the east of Daraa City.
Hama
Army units destroyed terrorist organizations’ fortifications and vehicles in Ma’rdes, and its surroundings, Soran, Taibet al-Emam, Batish, al-Zalaqiyat, Tal Dwair, Atshan , north of Maan and Skik in the countryside of Hama province.
Syrian Army continues operations against terrorists across country, warplane falls down with the pilot rescued
(21 September 2016) ~ Army units, backed by the army’s air force on Wednesday launched more operations against the Takfiri terrorism in different areas across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon them in the personnel and equipment.
Aleppo
Aleppo. Disposable terrorists and shelling of humanitarian corridors
Syrian Army units established control over al-Asmedah Building, located in the area surrounding al-Ramhosa to the southwest of Aleppo city.
A battlefield reporter pointed out that the army clashed heavily with terrorists of “Jaish al-Fatah” who were positioned in the Building, destroying a gathering and a site for the terrorists and setting up military points in the area surrounding it.
The reporter added that during the clashes, a number of members of “Jaish al-Fatah” were killed, others were injured and their weaponry and ammunition were destroyed.
The Syrian Army Air Force targeted the terrorists’ positions in al-Shakif area and in the villages of Kafer Hamara, Ma’rata and Karasi in the northern and southern countryside of Aleppo province.
A military source said that the a number of terrorists were killed in the air strikes and their vehicles were destroyed, some of which are armored or equipped with machineguns.
In Aleppo city, the army units carried out precise operations, destroying terrorists’ hotbeds, gatherings and vehicles in the neighborhoods of Hanano, Jabal Bader and al-Marjeh.
Damascus Countryside
Army units established control over new areas in Eastern Ghouta in Damascus Countryside after eliminating the latest gatherings of terrorist organizations in the area.
A military source confirmed that army units clashed with terrorists of Takfiri organizations, establishing control over new parts of al-Rayhan farms which located to the northeast of Doma city in the Eastern Ghouta.
The source pointed out that the clashes erupted when army units confronted attempts of terrorists to infiltrate and attack a number of military posts in the farms as a counter-attack conducted by the army ended by expanding the control in that area, killing many of the terrorists, injuring many others and destroying their weapons and equipment.
Meanwhile, a military source said that a warplane fell down while it was carrying out a combat mission in the eastern Qalamon area in Damascus Countryside.
The source said that the warplane fell down after carrying its mission on gatherings of ISIS terrorist organization in eastern Qalamon area.
The source added that the pilot parachuted down and was rescued.
Homs
Units of the Syrian army targeted gatherings of terrorists in Um Sharshouh, Talet al-Rastan and Burj Qa’ae in al-Houleh area in Homs countryside, inflicting them heavy losses.
Earlier, the Syrian army air force carried out sorties against gatherings and positions of the ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra in the eastern and northern countryside of Homs central province.
Military sources said that the Syrian Army’s Air Force carried out intensive strikes against dens and positions of the ISIS terrorists to the northeast of Palmyra City and to the north of the silos area and al-Shaer oil field in Palmyra countryside.
The source added that a number of the ISIS terrorists were killed in the strikes and others were injured and a number of their vehicles and dens were destroyed.
The source said that the army operations against the Takfiri terrorists are continued in the northern countryside as they targeted gatherings and positions of the terrorists in the villages of al-Jamali, al-Farhanieh, al-Rastan City and Talbisa town in the northern countryside as heavy losses were inflicted upon them in the personnel and equipment and a number of their machinegun-equipped vehicles were destroyed.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Army’s Air Force carried out an airstrike against positions of terrorists from “Ahrar al-Sham Movement”, killing at least 9 terrorists including Ehsan al-Masri, Mohammad Abdul-Majid al-Alwoush, Ali al-Tawil, Bashar Firzat, Malek Sabsabi and Malek al-Zarif.
Daraa
An army unit on Wednesday morning carried out an operation against gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Daraa al-Balad neighborhood.
A den of the terrorists was destroyed in the operation and a number of terrorists were killed and others were injured.
Hama and Idleb
The Syrian army air force targeted gatherings and fortifications of “Jaish al-Fateh” terrorists in Taibet al-Imam, in the surroundings of Ma’rdes, Tal Bazam, Zour al-Taibeh, Zour Abu Zaid and Souran, about 18 km to the north of Hama city.
The army air force carried out sorties against dens and infiltration axes of the terrorist groups in the village of al-Zakat, al-Latameneh town and north of Kafr Zaita, while it targeted terrorists’ fortifications in Hurr Benafseh village in the southern countryside of Hama province.
Terrorists’ vehicles and positions were destroyed in the strikes and a number of them were killed.
In the southern countryside of Idleb province, the army air force targeted the terrorists’ fortifications to the east of al-Tamanaa town, destroying their vehicles and killing and injuring a number of them.
An army unit also killed a number of terrorists, destroyed 4 of their machinegun-equipped vehicles and one of their armored vehicles on the outskirts of Ma’ardes town in the northern countryside of Hama central province.
Deir Ezzor
The Syrian Army Air Force destroyed fortifications and positions belonging to the ISIS terrorists and killed a number of them in the surroundings of Thardah Mountain and in al-Jafra village, about 7 km to the east of Deir Ezzor city.
Syrian Army kills more terrorists, destroys their equipment in different areas across the country
(20 September 2016) ~ Army units on Tuesday continued to launch wide-scaled military operations against dens and positions of the Takfiri terrorist organizations across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon them in the arms and personnel.
Aleppo
Units of the army destroyed two armored vehicles, equipped with heavy machine guns, and a 14,5 cannon, and killed a number of ISIS terrorists in the surrounding of the Air force academy in Aleppo countryside.
Hama
Army units on Tuesday carried out a number of operations against the Takfiri terrorist organizations in Kafr Nabbudah, Atshan, Skeik, Mourek, the surroundings of Maan, Kawkab, Souran, Um Hartain, Talet al-Nasirieh, Tal Bazam and Wadi Hwair in the northern countryside of Hama central province, according to a military source.
The source added that scores of Jaish al-Fateh terrorists were killed in the operations, others were injured and a number of their positions and vehicles were destroyed.
Homs
A military source said that positions and armored vehicles for ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organizations were destroyed in operations by the army backed by air force against the axes of their movement in Homs countryside.
Within the framework of the continued war against ISIS terrorists, the Syrian Army Air Force carried out concentrated strikes against terrorist gatherings in Khneifees, al-Tanf, the surroundings of Shaer field and al-Sukhneh in the eastern Badiya ( desert) of Homs.
The strikes ended up with destroying a number of positions and armored vehicles equipped with various machine guns and killing a number of terrorists.
Syrian Army operations against dens and gatherings of ISIS terrorists in Salam Gharbi village, 73 kilometers to the east of Homs resulted in killing a number of terrorists and injuring others.
In the northern countryside of Homs, scores of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and other terrorists affiliated to it were killed and others were injured in strikes by the Syrian air force against their gatherings in al-Rastan, Talbeeseh, Izz Eddin, al-Makumeh, al-Oseileh and al-Zaafaraneh, according to the military source.
Deir Ezzor
The army air force destroyed ISIS terrorists’ vehicles, some of which equipped with machineguns, and killed a number of terrorists at the surrounding of al-Tharda mountain in Deir Ezzor.
Daraa
A military source said that an Army and Armed Forces unit destroyed a command site for terrorist organizations and a vehicle equipped with a 23mm machinegun, and killed a number of terrorists in Daraa al-Balad in Daraa province.
Damascus Countryside
An army unit destroyed a position and a number of vehicles for terrorist organizations to the east of khan al-Sheeh and the area between al-Mqeilbiyeh and al-Darkhabiyeh in Damascus Countryside.
Earlier, an Army and Armed Forces unit thwarted an attack by a terrorist group affiliated to “Jabhat al-Nusra” on a military point in the Eastern Ghouta in Damascus Countryside.
A military source said that a Syrian army unit clashed with a terrorist group that was attempting to infiltrate and attack one of the military points in the area surrounding al-Darbakhia village in the Eastern Ghouta, killing a number of its members and injuring many others.
