Army and Armed Forces units, supported by national forces, established full control over Ghweiran neighborhood in Hasaka city. SAA and National Defence Forces eliminated the last remaining concentrations of ISIS terrorists in the western and eastern parts of the neighborhood following intensive and precise operation which left scores of terrorists, most of them foreigners, dead. The operations also resulted in confiscating an amount of assorted weapons and ammo.
Army operations targeted terrorists’ hideouts in the cities of Mare’ and Tal Rifaat and in Tal Qarah village in the countryside of Aleppo province, leaving many of them killed or injured and their weapons destroyed. Other operations targeting hideouts of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, killing dozens of them and destroying their machineguns- equipped vehicles in the village of Tal Rahhal and to the east of the Infantry School in al-Mislmiyeh area. More terrorists were killed in the villages of al-Mintar and Banan al-Hos in the southern countryside of the province.
Military Source: the Syrian Arab Army’s Air Force killed a number of ISIS terrorists and destroyed dens and vehicles along with all the terrorists inside them in Palmyra, Masada, and Um Twaina in Homs countryside.
