Syrian Army kills and injures Daesh and al-Nusra terrorists in several areas
19/6/2016 ~ Syrian Army units on Sunday eliminated a number of Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS terrorists and injured others in several areas around the country.
Daraa
Army units destroyed Sunday morning a mortar lauch-pad and 5 vehicles for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization in al-Noaima town and Daraa al-Balad, a military source told SANA.
Army strikes destroyed a command center for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization in al-Arba’een neighborhood and 3 vehicles, one of which equipped with machinegun, a Van and a truck loaded with weapon at al-Sadd road.
On Saturday, an army unit eliminated, in a special operation, most members of a terrorist group and destroyed their mortar launch-pad in al-Noamia town some 4kms to the east of Daraa city.
Sweida
Army units destroyed five vehicles of ISIS terrorists in Rajem al-Dawleh and Tal Asfar areas in the northeastern countryside of Sweida southern province, the source said.
It clarified that three of the targeted vehicles were carrying tens of terrorists while the other two were SUV.
An army unit also destroyed a rocket launcher and three vehicles for ISIS terrorists in Mashbak al-Widyan area in the eastern countryside of Sweida.
Terrorist cell arrested in al-Qutayfah, traffic on Damascus-Homs highway returns to normal
18/6/2016 ~ A Syrian army unit on Saturday arrested a terrorist cell was trying to cross through a military checkpoint on international Damascus-Homs highwayon in Damascus countryside.
A military source told SANA that a terrorist cell was arrested while trying to cross the military checkpoint in al-Qutaifeh area on Damascus-Homs highway.
The source pointed out that traffic on the road returned to normal after converting it for a short time in the region.
The army destroys positions and vehicles for ISIS and al-Nusra
18/6/2016 ~ Units of the Syrian army and Syrian armed forces, supported by the Syrian air force continued on Saturday combating terrorism in several provinces in the country, destroying terrorist positions, dens and Vehicles as well as killing and injuring scores of them.
Homs
Units of the army, supported by the army’s air force, destroyed 3 positions and a bomb car for ISIS near al-Rayan village, al- Tleilah and Ark in Homs eastern countryside, a military source told SANA.
Meanwhile, an army unit destroyed an explosive-loaded vehicle for ISIS before it reached al-Rayan village turn some 20 kms to southeast of of Homs city, the source added
Deir Ezzor
The army’s air force carried out special raids on the dens and sites of ISIS terrorists in Deir Ezzor countryside.
A military source told SANA that the raids ended up with destroying two positions and vehicles for ISIS in the south and west parts of Deir Ezzor airport.
Hama
Army units foiled an ISIS attempt to attack military posts in the eastern countryside of Hama province.
A field source told SANA Saturday that army units heavily clashed during the past hours with groups of ISIS terrorists sneaked into the vicinity of military posts near the village of al-Mefakr at the eastern countryside of Salamiyeh city.
The clashes ended up with killing and injuring a number of ISIS terrorists and destroying their weapon-loaded vehicles.
Daraa
An army unit destroyed a mortar pad for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists on al-Sadd road and killed members of a terrorist group in al-Kark neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa southern province.
A military source said that another army unit destroyed two vehicles of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists to the south of al-Jamarek al-Qadeem neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad.

Syrian Army destroys Jabhat al-Nusra command center in Daraa, ISIS vehicles in Sweida
17/6/2016 ~ Syrian Army and Armed Forces units continued carrying out counter-terrorism operations in Syrian provinces, destroying a command center for Jabhat al-Nusra in Daraa and a number of vehicles used by ISIS in Sweida.
Daraa
An army unit destroyed a monitoring and command center for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization on the western sides of al-Nuaimeh town, 4 km east of Daraa city on Friday, a military source said.
A number of the terrorists were killed or injured during the operation, the source added.
Sweida
An Army and Armed Forces unit destroyed a number of vehicles used by ISIS terrorists in the eastern countryside of Sweida province.
A military source told SANA that an army unit targeted with precise fire the concentrations and fortified positions of ISIS terrorists in Mashbak al-Widian area east of al-Rashidi village in the province’s eastern countryside, resulting in killing a number of terrorists, injuring others, and destroying a number of their vehicles.

Army eliminates terrorists, destroys monitoring position and explosives manufacturing den for them
16/6/2016 ~ A Syrian Army unit, in cooperation with Popular Defense groups, eliminated Thursday an ISIS terrorist group, mostly foreigners, who attacked a military post at the triangle of al- Rassafe in the western countryside of Raqqa province.
A military source told SANA that an army unit clashed with a group of ISIS terrorists attacked a military post at the triangle of al-Rassafe, killing and injuring a number of terrorists.
On Wednesday, Syrian Army Air Force destroyed vehicles for ISIS to the north side of Zakia crossroads and the south side of al-Tabqa city in the countryside of Raqqa province.
Syrian army in cooperation with popular defense groups, backed by Syrian and Russian air forces, began on 2 June a wide military operation on Athriya-Khanaser- al-Tabqa axis that resulted so far to establish control over Zakia-Deir Haffer crossroads, Abu al-Zain mountains, al-Masbah area, Abu al-Alaaj village, power and oil pumping
plants, two oil fields, Harbiyat and Anbaj villages and al-Safeeh triangle at Habari field.
Later, an army unit eliminated members of a terrorist group affiliated to ISIS, most of them foreigners, and destroyed a car bomb at the entrance of Safia oil field in the western countryside of Raqqa.
Lattakia
Army units established control over the areas of Nawwara, al-Hayat, Ain Issa, al-Shahroura, Abu Ali and al-Rweisseh in Lattakia northern countryside.
Earlier, Army units established full control on the towns and hills of Shir al-Nimer, al-Nimer and al-Hayat tower in Lattakia northern countryside adjacent to the Turkish borders.
Army units clashed with terrorist groups from Jabhat al-Nusra who attacked several areas in Lattakia northern countryside, inflicting heavy losses on them in personnel and equipment.
Daraa
The army units targeted monitoring and reconnaissance position for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization east of al-Khuder Hill, 7 km east of Daraa city , a military source told SANA.
The army’s operation resulted in destroying the position completely with all arms and ammunition it contains and killing a number of terrorists.
In al-Nuaimeh area , east of Daraa city, another army unit destroyed a den used by Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists for manufacturing the explosive devices to target the safe neighboring areas.
Two civilians killed, others injured in terrorist attacks in Aleppo and Quneitra
Aleppo, 15/6/2016 ~ wo civilians were killed and three others were injured in terrorist groups’ rocket shells on a number of residential neighborhoods in Aleppo.
A source at Aleppo Police Command told SANA that terrorists on Wednesday morning targeted the two neighborhoods of al-Midan and al-Forqan with rocket shells, killing two civilians and injuring six others as well as causing material damage to
private and public properties.
The source also said that terrorist fired rocket shells at the city’s main public park, injuring four people.
Material damage caused by terrorists’ mortars
Elsewhere, terrorists fired mortar shells on Jalma village in the northwestern countryside of Aleppo Wednesday causing material damage to private and public properties.
Local sources in Jalma told SANA that those terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra and the so called Ahrar al-Sham, Sham legion, Nour Eddin al-Zenki and Thwar al-Sham fired early morning 20 mortar shells at locals’ houses, causing material damage to citizens’ houses, private and public properties, but no casualties were reported.
Terrorist organizations, supported by Turkish regime, besiege locals of Jalma village in Efrin area and prevent them from practicing their daily life which causes more suffering to the locals with regard to the medical and food stuff shortage.
A civilian injured in terrorist mortar attack on al-Baath city in Quneitra
A civilian was injured in terrorist mortar attack on al-Baath city in Quneitra on Wednesday.
A source at Quneitra governorate said that the terrorists positioned in al-Samadaniyeh al-Gharbiyeh village fired mortar shell on al-Baath city, leaving a civilian injured.
The terrorist attack, according to the source, caused material damage to the local’s properties.

15/6/2016 ~ Syrian Army and Armed Forces on Wednesday continued combating terrorists organizations in several provinces of the Country
Hama
Army units conducted intensive operations against gatherings and axes movements of ISIS terrorists in the eastern countryside of Hama.
A military source told SANA that an army unit clashed with a group of ISIS terrorists at the axis of al-Mab’ouje – Akareb in the eastern countryside of Salamiyeh city, killing and injuring scores of them and destroying their weaponry.
Another army unit destroyed, in a special operation, a mortar launcher for ISIS terrorist organizations in Qleib village in the eastern countryside of the province.
On Monday, an army unit destroyed machinegun equipped-vehicles for ISIS terrorists and killed 7 of them in the vicinity of Ekeirbat town.
Homs
Army units in cooperation with popular defense groups continue military operations on Palmyra-al-Sawame’a-Ark axis in Homs countryside, managing to reach as far as 2 km to the west of Ark area after killing a number of ISIS terrorists.
An army unit destroyed a number of vehicles belonging to ISIS in Homs eastern countryside.
An army unit destroyed vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns and 23-mm machineguns for ISIS near Ark field to the east of Palmyra city.
Raqqa
Syrian Army Air Force destroyed vehicles for ISIS to the north side of Zakia crossroads and the south side of Tabqa city in the countryside of Raqqa province, according to the source.
Terrorist groups eliminated in several areas nationwide
14/6/2016 ~ An army unit carried out on Tuesday military operations against ISIS terrorists in the vicinity of Deir Ezzor city, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
A field source told SANA that an army unit clashed with ISIS terrorist groups in the area surrounding Panorama to the southwest of Deir Ezzor and destroyed a booby trapped vehicle, killing many of the terrorists and injuring others.
The source added that an army unit targeted the terrorists’ gatherings in al-Morei’ia and its farms and Hweijet al- Morei’ia in the southeastern countryside of the province.
In Sweida, Popular Defense groups eliminated terrorists and confiscated their ammunition and bombs at Kou’ Hadar area in the northern countryside of the southern province of Sweida were heading to the eastern desert, a source at province police command told SANA.
The source added that the groups ambushed the terrorists, killing and injuring a number of them and confiscated 10 thousand 7.62 mm bullets and 8 thousand BKS rounds, and a number of bombs, including Israeli-made ones.
On 28th of last May, a car in al-Afifeh village in the southern countryside of the province loaded with RPGs, mortar launchers, and more than 70 Kgs of TNT was seized.
On June 5th, an army unit also killed and injured 20 ISIS terrorists in Tal Asheiheb in the northeastern countryside of Sweida province.
Moreover, an army unit carried out military operations against Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists’ gatherings in Daraa al-Balad area, destroying mortar launchers and vehicles in addition to killing or injuring many of the terrorists in the neighborhoods of al-Menshieh and al-Seebeh and in the vicinity of al-Jumrok al-Qadeem.
