The Tiger Forces, backed by HZB and other militias approved by the Syrian government, are poised to finish their work in the East Ghouta in a mere 5 days.  Muhammad ‘Alloosh, the gangster-like boss of Jaysh Al-Islam, can see the writing on the wall.  It is hard enough to keep his savages in a state of acceptable morale when the Ghouta has been cleft in twain, but much harder when Saudi money is not coming, tunnels are all destroyed, civilians are in open revolt and the Saraab 2 anti-anti-tank system has been working superbly.  Nothing in the terrorist arsenal is effective against the Saraab once installed on a T-72 tank.  They might as well use spitballs.

‘Alloosh has reportedly been inundated with demands that he end the torture by negotiating a withdrawal from the Ghouta.  My source in Damascus informs me that the Russian government has a negotiating team on the ground in the capital tasked with ridding the area of these parasites.  The offer is the same as all others:  the terrorists will board buses provided by the Syrian government and the safety of those withdrawing with their families is guaranteed by Moscow.  It has worked splendidly in the past.  They will be redirected to Idlib where they can bask in the glory and resplendence of ‘Abdullah Al-Muhaysini.

UPDATE:  Thirteen terrorists have left on green buses this morning in Damascus with their families and carrying only light weapons.  They would first pass through the Al-Waafideen Crossing on their way to Idlib…. … …

Ever since the United States began openly arming and working with Kurdish fanatics in Syria under the guise of “fighting ISIS,” Turkey has shown signs of irritation, concern, and outright anger towards America. This is because the Turks fear any support given to Kurds from outside forces will embolden them to renew their fight for a Kurdistan entity carved out of Turkish territory. Indeed, Turkey is also concerned that any arming of the YPG/PYD forces in Syria will necessarily act as a conduit for weapons making their way to the PKK in Turkey. 

Indeed, in a meeting of the Turkish National Security Council on Monday, a statement was released alleging that weapons given by the U.S. to the YPG had found their way to PKK fighters. “This shows that both are the same organization,” the statement said. It also added that other countries were using a “double standard” for how the treat terror groups, a rather obvious reference to the United States and its position on Kurdish fighters. 

Thus, after a series of diplomatic spats, the relationship between Turkey and the United States has become more and more tense and less reliable than at other time during the course of the Syrian crisis with Turkey warming up to Russia on top of an icier relationship with the U.S. 

On Monday, however, Turkish papers released a bombshell article revealing the number and location of U.S. bases inside Syria, even listing the number of troops housed in each base. Only last week, I reported that a number of sources had put the number of U.S. bases in Syria as up to nine. The Turkish report raises the count of American bases to ten.

The media is abuzz with news that the Caliph of Cockadoodledoo is not dead, but alive, somewhere in Syria.  It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that that area in Syria will be where American forces and allies are operating.  After all, what could possibly be more dramatic than Donald Trump’s victory over the modern world’s eidos of evil, Abu Bakr Al-Baghdaadi.  His triumph will be greater than Obama’s when the former president basked onanistically in his own self-made glory after assassinating the malevolent, Usaamaa Bin Laadin.

I reported that Al-Baghdaadi was killed 1 year ago by the Syrian Air Force at Al-Mayaadeen.  I hold to my report and consider the issue closed.  It is my argument that the Saddamist Iraqi officers running ISIS are deliberately concealing his death the way the Taliban concealed the death of their leader, Mullah Umar.  If I am wrong, then, I will own up to it.  Yet, I can sense the vibrations of falsehood and deceit all around me.  Is it possible that the Caliph is the ultimate “one hit wonder”?  He has only been seen one time since his sleep-inducing speech at the Al-Noori Mosque in Mosul.

Isn’t it interesting how “sources” emanating from the Kurds in Iraq are trumpeting his rebirth.  Why, it would seem the Americans are planning to bomb Al-Raqqa and conveniently find that one of their bombs landed right on the cringing Caliph turning him into thousands of unidentifiable particles.  Pieces of his body will be flown to England or Germany where unnamed, anonymous, forensic specialists will be able to “confirm” the identity of this blackguard……………………………………….

The Syrian Arab Armed Forces and Allies officially launched the Operation to retake the Syrian Desert toward the Syrian-Iraqi borders.

In the first phase of the operation, SAA and Allies secured an area of 1300km2, isolated the remaining pockets in Eastern Damascus that might cause disturbances in the Capital and placed them under complete siege cutting them off from the Desert and from there to the Jordanian borders where they get their arms and funds; and also secured al-Seen airbase from any possible threat by these terrorist groups.

Simultaneously, the Syrian Arab Army and Allies launched an operation in the Eastern Countryside of Aleppo after successfully blocking an Turkish activity in the area.

Alongside an operation from Palmyra in which the Syrian troops secured the hilltops overseeing the roads toward Palmyra and thus making any possible flanking by ISIS or any other group a suicide before continuing their push deeper in the Syrian Desert.

Today, and despite every foreign effort to hold them back, the Syrian Arab Armed Forces and their Allies initiated their operations in the Syrian Desert from multiple axes and simultaneously; and for the first time, the breaching units were not transported between axes, today all the units are at the same level of experience, training and readiness; launched what could be the largest operation SAA launched since the beginning of the war, and one of the most discrete operations we came to see yet…

Local reporters from the Syrian News Agency in Aleppo denied on Sunday media reports claiming that terrorists have entered the fourth quarter in al-Hamadaniyeh neighborhood in Aleppo city.

The reporter said these rumors are completely false and aim at spreading panic among the locals of the neighborhood to make them leave their homes, affirming that the locals are holding their ground and have not left their houses.

The Syrian Army, backed by the air force, on Monday continued heavy military operations on fortified positions of the terrorist groups across the country, regaining control over several areas and inflicting heavy losses upon terrorists in personnel and equipment .

The Syrian army air force destroyed gatherings, positions and convoys of the ISIS terrorists in Arek, Manoukh and Unq al-Hawa in the eastern countryside of Homs central province, a military source said on Monday.

A Syrian army unit clashed with a terrorist group infiltrated to the vicinity of one of the military points in al-Sheikh Miskeen town, 22 km north of Daraa city.

A military source has stressed that the Syrian Arab army is determined to eliminate the terrorist groups from all areas they are positioned across the country and prevent them from achieving their goals in Aleppo.

The source said that the Syrian army air force on Sunday destroyed scores of armored vehicles and cars equipped with machineguns and loaded with ammunition, and killed a huge number of terrorists in Kafernaha, al-Atareb, Khan Touman, Oroum al-Kobra, al-Zerbeh, Khalsah and at the surroundings of the Military Academies in Aleppo.

It added that the military operations are continuing on all axes to the south and southwest of Aleppo and that heavy losses are being inflicted upon the terrorist groups in the arms and personnel.

The source stressed that these terrorist groups haven’t been able to break the siege imposed on the terrorists in the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo, indicating that the mass media which is involved in shedding the Syrian’s blood is launching a wide psychological war through broadcasting tens of fabricated photos and videos to affect the morale of the citizens and mislead the public opinion and to cover the large numbers of the killed and injured terrorists in Saturday’s battles .

In the framework of local reconciliations, fifty towns and villages from the eastern countryside of Homs joined the cessation of hostilities agreement.

The legal status of 256 wanted persons and draft dodgers was settled on Thursday in Daraa city and the areas of Izraa’, al-Sanamain and al-Mesmieh town in Daraa province, according to a source in Daraa governorate.

The Syrian Army units and Air Force on Wednesday continued to target positions and vehicles of the terrorist organizations in different areas across the country, destroying their vehicles and inflicting heavy losses upon them in the personnel and equipment.

Dozens of families return to their homes in the village of Qazhal, Homs countryside, after Syrian Army restoring of security and control

Warplanes of the U.S.-led alliance targeted al-Tokhar village in the countryside of Aleppo on Tuesday, killing and injuring scores of civilians. Multiple media sources said that the alliance warplanes carried airstrikes at dawn on al-Tokhar village 14 km north of Manbej city, which resulted in the death of scores of civilians and the injury of scores of others, most of them women and children who are in critical conditions. Local sources said that there are scores of people trapped undle the rubble of the buildings and houses that were destroyed by the airstrikes, and work is underway to rescue any survivors and remove bodies.

Army and Armed Forces units, in cooperation with popular defense groups, continued on Sunday to expand control over al-Castello area at the northern outskirts of Aleppo city, inflicting heavy losses on terrorists.

Aleppo:
Swift and abrupt military operations against terrorist organizations in Aleppo killed hundreds of them, while other operations continued against them in other areas, with the army units targeting their positions in some areas and repelling their attacks in others and the Air Force hitting their gatherings and movements. Army units carried out swift and abrupt military operations against gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra and Ahrar al-Sham terrorists in al-Khadeliyeh neighborhood and on the axes of al-Lairamoun and Bani Zaid, establishing control over new building blocks and factories.
Hundreds of terrorists were killed, in addition to destroying a number of mortar launchers, weapons and ammunition during the operations.

Deir Ezzor:
The army’s air force destroyed two ISIS positions with weapons and equipment inside, in al-Mrei’iyeh, 10 km to the southeast of Deir Ezzor city, a military source told SANA on Thursday.

Daraa:
An army unit targeted a gathering of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in al-Nazihin camp in Daraa al- Balad area in Daraa city.
A number of terrorist leaders within Jabhat al-Nusra were killed or injured in the operation, which also left several of vehicles destroyed..

Sweida:
Army units operating in the southwestern countryside of Sweida province clashed with terrorist groups that infiltrated towards military posts in Barad and al-Mjeimer villages. Many of the terrorists were killed or injured and the rest fled back towards Busra al-Sham. The source said that among the killed terrorists were Mohammad al-Balkhi, Nasser al-Naawashi al-Mikdad, Ziad al-Balkhi, Saif-Eddin al-Mikdad, Ghassan al-Balkhi, Ahmad Ali Suleiman among others.

RUSSIAN AIRSTRIKES Hit 50 Daesh Targets, 150 Syrian Towns Liberated From Terrorists With Russian Air Support.
Over 4,5000 square miles and 150 Syrian towns have been liberated from Daesh terrorists due to Russian air support, the Russian Defense Minister said Friday. “This allowed 264,000 refugees to return to their places of permanent residence,” Shoigu said.

RUSSIAN LONG-RANGE BOMBERS destroyed on Tuesday a large camp for ISIS in Palmyra eastern countryside of Homs province.
The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement that 6 RUSSIAN TU-22M3 LONG-RANGE BOMBERS took off from an airbase in Russia on Tuesday and directed strikes to facilities and positions for ISIS terrorist organization to the east of Palmyra and in al-Sukhneh and Arak areas in Syria.
According to the Ministry, the strikes destroyed a large field camp for ISIS, three weapon depots, three tanks, four armored vehicles, and eight vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns, in addition to killing a significant number of terrorists.

HOMS ~ “Emir of Jabhat al-Nusra in al-Rastan” killed – The Syrian Air Force launched Sunday morning strikes against gatherings of ISIS terrorists in Khneifees area, 40 km east of Homs city, according to the military source. A number of terrorists were killed, others were injured and their vehicles, equipped with machine guns, were destroyed in the airstrikes. Meanwhile, a source on the ground confirmed the death of the “Emir of Jabhat al-Nusra in al-Rastan”, the terrorist Mahmoud Abdul-Karim Brouq, along with 10 members of his group in a special army operation carried out in the area between al-Ghajar and al-Zara villages in Homs northern countryside.

ALEPPO ~ A Syrian Army unit thwarted an attempt by a terrorist group to infiltrate into the Citadel of Aleppo, a military source said. The source pointed out that an army unit clashed with a terrorist group who was attempting to infiltrate into the Citadel of Aleppo through a tunnel, killing all of its members and destroying their weapons and ammunition.

More ISIS command centers and convoys of vehicles have been hit as the Syrian Arab Armed Forces continued operations against the positions of this and other terrorist organizations in various areas, with the air force inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists’ ranks.

General Command of the Army and Armed Forces announced that armed terrorist groups have committed an appalling crime, killing pilot Lieutenant Colonel Nawras Hassan.

Syrian Army units oerating in Daraa al-Balad targeted fortified sites and machine gun positions for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization and other Takfiri groups affiliated to it near the Power Company and Khazan al-Kark, destroying the aforementioned sites completely and killing and injuring a number of terrorists.

A military source said that a Syrian army unit destroyed 9 tankers for Daesh (ISIS, ISIL, IS) terrorists filled with oil stolen from oil fields in al-Badiya (the Desert) and 3 4WD vehicles near al-Shi’aab village in Sweida eastern countryside.

The Syrian Army’s Air Force destroyed armored vehicles equipped with machine guns belonging to ISIS terrorists to the south of al-Tabqa city, 55 km west of Raqqa city.

QUNEITRA ~ Syrian Arab Army units on Monday eliminated a number of Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS terrorists and injured others in several areas around the country. A field source said that an army unit, in cooperation with popular defense groups, clashed with groups of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists which attacked a military post in Tal al-Hamiriya to the south of Hadar village.
The clashes ended up with killing and injuring a number of al-Nusra terrorists, forcing others to flee and destroying the weaponry in their procession.

RAQQA: The Syrian army’s air force targeted gatherings and positions of ISIS terrorists near al-Rasafa city in the countryside of Raqqa province.
The strikes hit convoys of vehicles, some of which are armored and others equipped with machineguns, in the vicinity of al-Rasafa crossroads, a military source told SANA on Sunday.

TEHERAN ~ Defense Ministers of Syria, Iran and Russia met in Tehran to discuss issues related to combating terrorism [in Syria and the region].
Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani affirmed the necessity of military coordination between Syria, Iran and Russia in fighting against Takfiri terrorism, expressing his satisfaction over the results of the tripartite meeting which gathered the defense ministries of the three countries.

The Syrian Army and Armed Forces established full control over the grain silos and a number of hills in the eastern countryside of Palmyra in Homs province, a military source stated on Saturday evening.

An army unit on Saturday carried out a special operation against a gathering for ISIS terrorists in al-Qaser village to the northeast of Sweida southern province.

A military source said that at least 40 terrorists of the so-called Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Movement were killed in Hama northern countryside.

Meanwhile, army units clashed with ISIS terrorists in the vicinity of al-Tharda mountain and Panorama area to the southern and southwestern parts of Deir Ezzor city, thwarting attack attempts against military positions.

Army units, in cooperation with popular defense groups, continued their operations against ISIS gatherings and fortified positions in Athrya area in the eastern countryside of Hama, inflicting heavy losses on them.

The Russian defense ministry announced that several units of the Turkish Army have crossed the border with Aleppo province in Northern Syria and have deployed forces there.

“The local people have informed that Turkish army troops are now in Aleppo province,” the Russian-language Interfax news agency quoted the Russian defense ministry as saying on Friday.

Spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said on Thursday that Moscow calls for closing the Turkish-Syrian borders to stop the flow of arms and terrorists, reiterating the need for an international cooperation to combat terrorism in Syria.

The Syrian army kicked off the new operation to take control of the city of Taqaba first and then move towards Raqqa city.

The Russian fighter jets continued pounding the ISIL’s positions in the Northwestern part of Raqqa province, and destroyed the Takfiri terrorist group’s oil exploration facilities there.

At least four oil extraction facilities of the ISIL were destroyed in the Russian airstrikes in Northwestern Raqqa.

The Russian air force, meantime, heavily pounded the ISIL’s military positions in the surrounding areas of the village of Abu Allaj on Ithrya-Raqqa road near the city of Tabaqa.

An army unit targeted Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists’ gatherings and vehicles in Daraa al-Balad area near borders with Jordan in Daraa southern province.

A military source said that many terrorists were killed during the operation and three machinegun barricades to the south of al-Menshiya were destroyed in addition to two vehicles equipped with machineguns to the south of al-Naziheen (displaced) Camp.

Many members of terrorists organizations have been killed in continued operations by the army units and the Air Force over the past 24 hours, while more of their dens, weapons and vehicles were destroyed.

An army unit killed 28 Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists near Skeik Hill in the northern countryside of Hama province.

The Army’s air force targeted positions for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists east of al-Tamanaa in the southern countryside of Idleb province, killing 11 of them and destroying a vehicle.

The Syrian Air force launched airstrikes against ISIS gatherings in the area surrounding al-Shaer field, Jazel and Hindawi in the eastern countryside of Homs and to the south of al-Bareda in the southeast countryside, according to a military source… … …

The SAA has regained total control over the ‘Family House’ area, on the border of Al-Zahraa` District. We are delighted to inform our readers that a group calling itself the Army of Nooreddeen Zangi took a battering to the tune of 74 dead rodents and 180 confirmed wounded.

The SAA has opened up an alternative route to oil fields in the shadow of this mountain due to extremely intense fighting between the army and ISIS. ISIS has failed in every single attempt to regain control over the profitable oil derricks in the area. ISIS is going broke. And, Erdoghan’s family is losing millions. But, judging by events in Ankara, they may have to worry about a lot more than that soon enough.

In Der’ah, the Syrian Army killed the leader of a group called Liwaa` Tawheed Al-Janoob (Unity of the South Brigade, yawn. He was called “Ibraaheem Fawzi Al-Masaalima, a scion of a large clan of Hawraanis. He was killed near the Old Customs Building.

The Syrian Army’s crack special operations units have conducted another flawless assault on Alqaeda rodents west of village of Al-Arba’een, in the northwest area of the Idleb province.

The SAA opened fire in a more lethal and exact way killing a confirmed 8 rodents. All carcasses carried Nusra/Alqaeda identification and all were non-Syrian.

The Syrian Air Force struck a convoy of about 20 trucks belonging to ISIS on the road leading to the Third Petroleum Station near the City of Palmyra killing over 18 rodents and wounding scores. A report indicates the SAA is on its way to the scene in order to kill any ISIS survivors.

The SAA invaded and destroyed a major Nusra/Alqaeda command-control center which contained more electronic evidence of Turkey’s role in the terrorism in Syria.

Other than some laughable exploits attributable to the lackeys serving the conflicted strategies of the CIA and Pentagon in northern Aleppo, there isn’t a lot to write about as the cease-fire continues fairly successfully.

Yesterday, the SAA liberated Western Al-Hazm (Al-Hazm Al-Gharbiyya), which you can see on the map overlooks Al-Qaryatayn.

The SAA also cleared out Elevation 861 in Al-Hazm giving the army an unobstructed look straight down into the town where the SAF continues to pummel ISIS rat positions.

According to our source, the SAF decisively put out of commission 6 vehicles, 2 of which were cannon-armed pickups.

The rate of bombings by the air force is a clue to how long the terrorists are expected to hold out. Also just liberated are Al-Raaqima Elevation and Dhahr Al-Kharnoobi…

There are operatives working for the Syrian government inside Al-Raqqa City. Their work is sensitive and they have to exercise great caution since the mere suspicion they are working to undermine the rule of ISIS will land them in front of a video camera which will memorialize their dreory execution.

There are hundreds of men and women inside the city who regularly report events to both the media and the government in Damascus. The most important group is the Ba’ath Party Vanguards.

Yesterday, an ISIS gunman was found garroted professionally in an alleyway giving upon the river.

General Sergei Shoigu, the Russian Defense Minister, could have easily called his Syrian counterpart, Lt. General Fahd Jaasim Al-Furayj, and talked over the telephone or even on secure lines.

But, this subject demanded the highest level of secrecy in a world in which all conversations are vulnerable to eavesdropping.

General Shoigu is pushing the Syrian High Command to finish off Kinsibba as soon as possible despite weather delays and the grotesque geography of the area.

The third area of concern is a rapid deployment of new weapons systems the Syrians have not seen before and which, the Russians believe, will bring the battle more quickly to an end.

The SAA, however, has to be trained to use the new ground equipment and the 2 generals discussed the logistics of absorption and training.

We are looking at the start of a bigger war and the Russians wanted to make their position clear to the Syrian Army’s high command.

For the first time since their arrival in Syria, the Russian Air Force launched a series of airstrikes above the Aleppo Governorate’s eastern countryside, targeting the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham’s (ISIS) positions along the Deir Hafer-Aleppo Highway while the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) attacks the terrorist group on the ground.

On Thursday morning (22/9/2015), the Syrian Arab Army – in coordination with the National Defense Forces (NDF) – conducted a powerful assault on ISIS’ positions at ‘Ayn Sabl, resulting in their capture of the southwestern perimeter of this town that is located to the east of Tal Rayman and Al-Salihiyah.

Assisting the Syrian Armed Forces from above was none other than the Russian Air Force, as they reportedly struck ISIS’ positions in east Aleppo

The Syrian conflict started in March 2011 in the southern agro-center of Der’ah. Tadmur (Palmyra): Even nominally friendly sites like NSNBC are misreporting events in this historically important town in the far east of Homs Governorate.

Many sites are simply making the fatuous statement that the entire city of Palmyra has been overrun by ISIS fanatics and that includes Alalam and Al-Mayaadeen.

Interesting to note that neither news source has anyone on the ground there to report directly.

All inhabitants of the town have been evacuated, just like Idlib.

All corridors into the city are under the control of the SAA. SAA artillery and SAAF sorties are destroying whole nests of ISIS rats.

At 3 A.M. (Damascus Time) on Tuesday morning, the Syrian Arab Air Force (SAAF) launched a multitude of airstrikes over the strategic city of Jisr Al-Shughour in preparation for a large-scale assault to break the one month long siege of the National Hospital, where over 250 Syrian Arab Army soldiers, doctors, and nurses are currently protecting their encircled positions.

The SAAF’s airstrikes rained a number of bombs over the Syrian Al-Qaeda group “Jabhat Al-Nusra” and their allies from “Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham” and “Ajnad Al-Sham” for two hours before the Syrian Arab Army’s 87th Brigade of the 11th Tank Division, Tiger Forces, and the National Defense Forces (NDF) fired a barrage of mortar shells and rockets towards the Sugar Factory that is situated 1.5km from Jisr Al-Shughour.

Last Thursday morning, the Syrian Arab Army’s 5th Armored Division – in coordination with the National Defense Forces (NDF) and Palestine Liberation Army (PLA) – laid a powerful ambush on a large Islamist rebel contingent traveling through the hills of Al-Khalidiyah in the As-Sweida Governorate.

The militants from the Syrian Al-Qaeda group “Jabhat Al-Nusra” and their allies from “Liwaa Al-Yarmouk” and the Free Syrian Army (FSA) were traveling through Al-Khalidiyah in order to transport a multitude of Israeli and American manufactured weapons to their fighters entrenched in the northern countryside of As-Sweida.

Video evidence from the ambush was released by members of the NDF, which depicted approximately 30 armed militants traveling through a desolate area in Al-Khalidiyah before a roadside bomb was detonated by the Syrian Armed Forces; this resulted in the death of all the Islamist fighters traveling in the convoy.
