Syrian Army engages in fierce battles against mercenary-terrorists in Aleppo, inflicts heavy losses upon them in different areas
Aleppo
(7 August 2016) ~ A Syrian military source has stressed that the Syrian Arab army is determined to eliminate the terrorist groups from all areas they are positioned across the country and prevent them from achieving their goals in Aleppo .
The source said that the Syrian army air force on Sunday destroyed scores of armored vehicles and cars equipped with machineguns and loaded with ammunition, and killed a huge number of terrorists in Kafernaha, al-Atareb, Khan Touman, Orum al-Kobra, al-Zirbeh, Khalsah and at the surroundings of the Military Academies in Aleppo.
The army units secured their positions in the surroundings of the military Academies in Aleppo and dealt blows to gatherings of terrorists.
Army units south Aleppo managed to defeat successive attacks by the armed terrorist groups.
Syrian and Russian air forces destroy three positions for Jaish al-Fateh terrorists in Khan Touman and Khan al-Asal in addition to convoys of vehicles and armed vehicles on the axes of Saraqeb- Aleppo, Taftanaz- Aleppo and al-Zurba- Aleppo.
Army units south Aleppo in cooperation with the allied forces in coordination with the Air Force draw terrorist groups to fire pockets, inflicting heavy losses in personnel and munitions upon them.
Earlier that units of the Syrian army and Syrian armed forces, in cooperation with the allied supporting forces, are continuing the military operations to the south of Aleppo and courageously confronting the terrorist groups and engaging in fierce battles in a number of posts into which the terrorists infiltrated in the area of the military academies.
It added that the military operations are continuing on all axes to the south and southwest of Aleppo and that heavy losses are being inflicted upon the terrorist groups in the arms and personnel.
The source stressed that these terrorist groups haven’t been able to break the siege imposed on the terrorists in the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo, indicating that the mass media which is involved in shedding the Syrian’s blood is launching a wide psychological war through broadcasting tens of fabricated photos and videos to affect the morale of the citizens and mislead the public opinion and to cover the large numbers of the killed and injured terrorists in Saturday’s battles .
Meanwhile in Aleppo large numbers of terrorists attacked the area to the south and southwest of Aleppo on Saturday evening.
Earlier, a military source said that the Syrian army air force intensified airstrikes against the supply routes of the terrorists and the axes of their movement to the southwest of Aleppo.
The source indicated that the army air force destroyed tens of terrorists’ vehicles and killed all terrorists onboard on the axes of Saraqeb, al-Zarbeh, al-Rashidin, Orum al-Kobra, Khan al-Assal and Maaret al-Nouman in the direction of Aleppo.
The military source also mentioned that the Syrian Air Force hit and destroyed reinforcement and supply convoys sent from areas in Idleb and Hama to support terrorist groups in Aleppo, destroying those convoys and killing many terrorists and injuring others.
Damascus Countryside
Syrian Army units and the supporting forces have established control over large parts of Hawsh Nasri town in Eastern Ghouta in Damascus Countryside. This advance came few days after establishing control over Hawsh al-Fara town, which was the first defensive line for terrorist groups in Eastern Ghouta.
A military source explained that the army units continued their operations in Hawsh Nasri town and its farms which were used by terrorists as fortified sites to attack the army’s posts and target safe neighborhoods and towns with mortar shells.
The army units and the popular defense groups managed through high level of coordination to break through the terrorists’ fortifications and advance into the town, which is the terrorist groups’ second defensive line towards Douma city, their most dangerous stronghold in Ghouta, according to the source.
The source affirmed that large parts of Hawsh Nasri town came under the army’s control after fierce clashes with the terrorists, who suffered heavy losses.
Daraa
Units of the army and armed forces destroyed two of the terrorists’ cars and three of their motorcycles in an ambush on the road of Tafas-al-Yadoda in the western countryside of Daraa southern province, killing many terrorists and injuring others including a number of their leaders.
Terrorists Mohammad Khair alaa al-Zoubani, Mansour Mohammad al-Zoubani were identified among the dead, while terrorist nicknamed Abu Rashid, the leader of the so-called Liwa al-Mo’taz-Bellah was injured.
Homs
The Syrian army air force destroyed ISIS terrorist’s vehicles, some equipped with machineguns, after targeting their gatherings at the surroundings of al-Shaer oil field, in the western countryside of Palmyra in Homs province.
The army killed a number of terrorists during the operation.
The Syrian Air Force establishes fire control around Syrian military academies in southern Aleppo
The Syrian army and Syrian armed forces continued on Saturday its crackdown on armed terrorist organizations all over the country, killing scores of terrorists and destroying their criminal tools.
Aleppo
A military source announced that the Air Force has isolated with fire control the operations area in the surroundings of the military academies in southern Aleppo in a way that supports the army forces that are clearing the posts the terrorist groups earlier infiltrated.
The Air Force has intensified strikes and managed to curb the terrorist groups’ movement in southwestern Aleppo and cut off with fire control the routes leading into the city.
The military source also mentioned that the Air Force hit and destroyed reinforcement and supply convoys sent from areas in Idleb and Hama to support terrorist groups in Aleppo.
Tens of vehicles for terrorist organizations were destroyed in army airstrikes in al-Zirbeh, al-Rashidin, Orum al-Kobra, Khan al-Assad, Maaret al-Nouman and Saraqeb in the direction of Aleppo.
Earlier, the source told SANA that the army units defending the military academies to the south of Aleppo city, backed by the air force and artillery, have inflicted heavy losses on the Takfiri terrorist groups which renewed attacks along the axis of the academies with large numbers.
The army units, backed by the Syrian Air Force and Artillery, engaged in fierce clashes against the attacking terrorist groups, according to the source, who noted that a number of terrorists were killed and many of them were injured in the clashes.
SANA reporter in Aleppo pointed out that thousands of terrorists, most of them mercenaries, attacked the axis of the academies with car bombs at midnight.
The reporter added that scores of terrorists were killed in the clashes and others were injured and a large number of their vehicles and equipment were destroyed.
The terrorist groups also fired tens of rocket shells on al-Ramousa area and on al-Hamadaniyeh neighborhood in Aleppo City, leaving a number of civilians dead or injured and causing huge material damage.
Terrorist rocket attacks kill 10 civilians, injure 42 others in Aleppo and Damascus
(6 August 2016) ~ Seven civilians were killed on Saturday by rocket shells fired on al-Hamadaniyeh neighborhood in Aleppo city, a source at Aleppo Police Command said.
Thirteen more civilians were reported injured in the shelling attack launched by terrorist groups on the above-mentioned neighborhood, according to the source.
The attack, which included tens of shells, caused material damage to public and private properties, the source noted.
Later in the evening, SANA reporter in Aleppo stated that 3 civilians were killed and 27 others were injured, some of them in critical condition, due to rocket shells fired by terrorist groups on Salah-Eddin and al-Hamadaniya neighborhoods in Aleppo city.
Two women injured in terrorist rocket attacks on Old City of Damascus
In a new breach of the cessation of hostilities agreement, terrorists from the so-called “Jaish al-Islam” fired rocket shells on neighborhoods in the Old City of Damascus on Saturday, injuring two women.
A source at Damascus Police Command told SANA that four rocket shells fired by terrorist groups positioned in Eastern Ghouta in Damascus Countryside fell on al-Joura neighborhood in Old Damascus, leaving two women injured.
The source added that one of the shells hit Ghazal al-Haroubyieh school, while the other three shells hit other areas and locals’ houses in the neighborhood, causing material damage to public and private properties.
Syrian Authorities thwart an attempt to smuggle arms and ammunition to mercenary-terrorists in Hama countryside
(6 August 2016) ~ The Syrian Authorities concerned foiled an attempt to smuggle large quantities of arms and ammunition to takfiri terrorist organizations in the northwestern and eastern countryside of Hama.
Following accurate intelligence information, the authorities concerned seized a shipment of arms containing what is known as” Hell Cannons” which were on their way to terrorist groups in the village of Qalet al-Madeeq.
Three terrorists who were trying to smuggle the shipment of arms to the takfiri groups in the eastern countryside of Hama were arrested.
The shipment contained a large quantity of shells for BMBs, goggles, bombs, ammunition for PKC machine guns, medium machine guns, thermal rockets, anti-tank missiles, ammunition for machine guns and rifles and tank shells.
Terrorist groups, most of which are affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS are active in some areas in Hama countryside and commit crimes against locals.
