Sources in Yemen disclosed on Sunday that Riyadh has transferred control over Yemen’s strategic Southern port city of Aden to its sponsored Takfiri terrorist groups, mainly DAESH-ISIS. Also, Last month, local sources revealed that the Saudi-led forces fighting against the Yemeni government had hired foreign mercenaries, specially Sudanese soldiers, after they were badly defeated in the Southern port of Aden. Soldiers of the Sudanese army along with their vehicles were seen moving in several areas across the Southern province of Aden.
Saudi support for the militant groups, specially Al-Qaeda and the ISIL, in Aden has resulted in a rise in the number of the terrorist attacks on influential political figures and senior officers in the Southern Yemeni city, media reports said. Unknown gunmen shot dead a senior Yemeni officer Major Mi’ad Fazl in front of his house in Enma region very recently, the Arabic-language Al-Hayat news agency reported. Another Yemeni officer named Abdul Vahed Fareh was also assassinated by terrorists in al-Mansoura region. There was also an assassination attempt on the life Lahij Prosecutor General Abdollah Mohammad Saeed in Al-Fayoush region near Aden, but he escaped the attempt with injuries.
