Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Lebanon Alexander Zasypkin said that currently the situation in Lebanon is under control, and that Moscow does not expect military escalation there.

Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri resigned on November 4 in a declaration read from Saudi Arabia, pushing Lebanon back to the forefront of a regional struggle between Saudi Arabia and Iran.

Zasypkin added that in the case of a new military action against Lebanon-based Hezbollah organization, Israel will “suffer substantial casualties”.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia accused Iran of conducting acts of “direct military aggression” and accused Lebanon of “declaring war” on Riyadh by allowing Hezbollah “aggression” against the kingdom.

A warlike rhetoric against Iran, Lebanon and Hezbollah are a clear sign of this. While Iran is a potent regional power in military and diplomatic terms, Hezbollah is a non-state actor. So, Riyadh may choose the group as an enemy for its risky foreign policy undertaking.

Saudi Arabia and Israel are obvious allies in their will to destroy Hezbollah. On November 5, Tel Aviv started the largest-ever aerial exercise in the history of Israel. 

A leaked diplomatic cable confirmed that the Saudis and Israelis are coordinating their efforts against Iran and Hezbollah thus escalating the already tense situation in the Middle East.

Emboldened by U.S. backing Saudi Arabia launched a campaign to finally subjugate Qatar into client state status. The plan has now reached a high point. A few hours ago Bahrain, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia severed all ties with Qatar.

The Saudis accuse Qatar of supporting terrorists. That is like Britain accusing the U.S. of imperialism, or the mafia cutting ties with the mob over gangsterism. As Joe Biden remarked (vid) when still Vice President, both Wahhabi countries, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, have been funding and fueling terrorism in Syria, Iraq and elsewhere. But the Saudi view is that the more “liberal” Qatar is simply supporting the “wrong” kind of terrorists.

The U.S. military has huge interests in Qatar and other Gulf countries. Al-Udeid in Qatar is the biggest U.S. airbase in the Middle East. It is also the forward headquarter of the U.S. Central Command with some 10,000 U.S. soldiers……

The extreme bullying of Qatar by the Saudis and the UAE, with total closure of all its borders, is designed to create an immediate capitulation. So far Qatar holds onto its course but in the end it is likely to fold. It will have to stop its support for “terrorism” i.e. the Muslim Brotherhood. Another scenario is a putsch in Doha with some Saudi puppet prepared to take over the realm. If that is unsuccessful a military move could follow. Qatar has little capabilities to withstand a potential Saudi invasion.

For Iran this is a chance to further blow up the GCC by intensifying its relations with Qatar. It could increase its food exports to the country and host Qatar airline flights. This in exchange for a Qatari retreat from Syria. The U.S./Saudi plan of confronting Iran through the GCC would then be in complete jeopardy……………..

At least 5 Bahraini people have been killed in regime forces’ raid on the town of Diraz. According to Bahraini Interior Ministry, more than 280 people were also detained during the attack. Following the incident, protesters poured into the streets in several towns across the country to condemn the bloody attack. The demonstrators chanted anti-government slogans and expressed solidarity with the country’s top cleric Sheikh Isa Qassim. Bahraini forces fired tear gas to disperse the angry crowd. The raid on Diraz comes two days after a Bahraini court sentenced Sheikh Qassim to one year in prison. RT News ~ An Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman has accused Saudi Arabia of supporting terrorism and of seeking confrontational policies in the region. He was responding to comments by the Saudi deputy crown prince who earlier ruled out dialogue with Tehran.

Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman al-Saud, the kingdom’s defense minister, said it was impossible to mend relations between his country and Iran due to Tehran’s “extremist ideology” and ambitions to“control the Islamic world,” he said in an interview with MBC television, broadcasted by Saudi media.

“How can I come to an understanding with someone, or a regime, that has an anchoring belief built on an extremist ideology? What are the interests between us? How can I come to an understanding with this?” he said, according to AP.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi said that such remarks showed that the Saudi authorities lacked an understanding of regional issues and intended to seek”confrontational and destructive policies.”

“These comments are proof that Saudi Arabia supports terrorism and seeks confrontational and destructive policies in the region and towards Iran,” Qasemi was quoted as saying by state media, Reuters reported…………………..

Inutile de nous interroger, une fois de plus, sur l’émotion débordante d’indifférence des médias humanitaires occidentaux.

Au même moment se tenait la troisième session des pourparlers d’Astana, boycottée par les chefs des factions armées de ladite opposition syrienne modérée, présents lors des deux sessions précédentes et dont le garant est la Turquie selon l’accord tripartite conclu entre la Russie, l’Iran et la Turquie, lequel accord a abouti au plan de cessation des hostilités entré en vigueur le 29 décembre 2016 à minuit et adopté à l’unanimité par le Conseil de Sécurité sous la résolution 2336 du 31 décembre 2016.

La coïncidence de la visite de Mohamad ben Salmane à Washington avec les déflagrations meurtrières à Damas, la tenue des pourparlers d’Astana 3 en l’absence des chefs des factions militaires et les déclarations russes parlant de parties étrangères les influençant parce qu’elles ne veulent pas régler la crise syrienne, n’est pas fortuite.

Le ressentiment saoudien devant la monopolisation des groupes armés par le gouvernement turc d’Erdogan, l’Arabie saoudite étant reléguée au rôle de financier et de conseiller, s’ajoute au fait que la Turquie n’est plus intéressante comme alliée depuis le désaccord américano-turc sur la guerre en Syrie et son exploitation de toutes les cartes, à son seul profit, dans le but de se débarrasser des Kurdes, au point d’oser conclure un accord tripartite avec Moscou et Téhéran.

Thursday 10 March 2016: closing ceremony of military exercise “Ra’ad Al-Shamal” (North Thunder) in Hafr Al-Baten, northern Saudi Arabia.

The 12-day “North Thunder” manoeuvres, in the northeast of the Saudi peninsula, included 20 nations from the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

The exercises took place near Hafr al- Batin city, close to the Kuwaiti and Iraq borders.

Saudi Arabia’s chief of staff, General Abdulrahman al-Bunyan, commanded the exercise.

The “North Thunder” exercise is considered the biggest Arab and Islamic military maneuvers that have been seen in the region.

Participants in this exercise included joint military forces from 20 Arab and Islamic states in response to the invitation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The first batch of mercenaries from the private US military firm DynCorp has arrived in the Yemeni city of Aden to replace paid militants from another American company.

Under a USD-3-billion contract between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and DynCorp, mercenaries from the company are to be deployed to Yemen, where UAE forces are fighting against the Yemeni army and Popular Committees on Saudi orders, Khabar News Agency quoted an official with Yemeni Defense Ministry as saying.

The Saudi regime has resorted to the targeted killing of its mercenaries who have changed their stances and defected to the opposition camp in Southern Yemen.

Those assassinated in Lahij province have been killed for changing sides from the US and Saudi Arabia; most of the slain militants have formerly been allies of former fugitive President Mansour Hadi or his former Prime Minister Khaled Bahah.

Security forces in Lebanon interrogate a Saudi prince on charges of carrying drugs on his private plane.

Abd al-Muhsen bin Walid bin Abd al-Aziz Al Saud was detained on Monday at the Rafik Hariri International Airport in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, while in possession of 24 bags and eight suitcases full of narcotics. The Saudi prince was arrested along with four other individuals.

They were charged with attempting to smuggle around 2 tons of Captagon pills on their private jet to Saudi Arabia.

Captagon pills had “the typical effects of a stimulant” and produce “a kind of euphoria – you’re talkative, you don’t sleep, you don’t eat, you’re energetic,” according to Lebanese psychiatrist Ramzi Haddad.

The drugs are reportedly the DAESH and others terrorist gangs favorite narcotics.

WikiLeaks released the first batch of the so-called “Saudi cables” on June 19, 2015. By June 22, a total of 61,214 of the documents were released online. More than half a million of these cables are in the hands of WikiLeaks.

Looking over the documents released by WikiLeaks it becomes clear that they confirm what is already known about the House of Saud and that there is a serious problem of analysis in the organizational structures of Saudi Arabia. A lack of critical thinking is not a problem that money and bribery can solve either. With this type of mentality and lack of analytical thinking about the world, it is of little wonder that Riyadh got itself in a quagmire in Yemen.

There, however, remain important questions about the motives for the release of the Saudi cables and about the background of the Yemen Cyber Army.

Israel is very much involved. In late April, Fars News reported its submarines and warplanes “readily observed” near Saudi Arabia’s coastline since conflict began – according to unnamed foreign diplomats.

They said Riyadh secretly agreed decades ago to give Israeli submarines and warplanes access to Saudi waters.

The events of the last few months have been unravelling in a manner that was least revealing. Suddenly however, some developments can be seen, which if connected together, can only lead to one assessment and speculation.

The War on Syria is coming to a head and the real battle for liberating Syria is about to begin.

Friends of Syria ought to brace themselves for the mother of all battles.
Once the Qalamoun is cleansed, Aleppo will be purified, Palmyra would have already been liberated, and the ISIS fighters will flee like rats.
Syrian forces will meet Iraqi forces, shake hands, and call it mission accomplished.
