Acting charge d’affaires of Syria’s permanent delegation at the UN, Munzer Munzer, reiterated Syria’s non-negotiable sovereign right to restore the occupied Golan, adding that sooner or later, all occupied territories will be returned.

He strongly condemned determination of the United Nations Special Coordinator for Middle East Peace Process, Nicholai Mladinov, to ignore any talk about the situation in the Occupied Syrian Golan, clarify the attitude of the United Nation towards this issue in accordance with the UN relevant resolutions, specially resolution No.497 of 1981 and address the suffering of more than 23,000 Syrian citizens during 50 years of occupation, not to mention ignoring the Israeli entity’s illegal practices and continuous violations of the 1974 Separation of Forces Agreement through cooperation with the armed terrorist groups which captured several positions in the UNDOF area.

Munzer added that Israeli entity still refuses to relinquish the Golan and abide by the international legitimacy resolutions including the UNSC resolution no.497 as it continues to confiscate lands in the Occupied Syrian Golan, expand settlements, exploit its natural resources and rob its archaeological artifacts, in addition to planting landmines and preventing Golan inhabitants from communicating with their parents, families and relatives in Syria, continuing their studies according to the Syrian national education curricula or building hospitals in the Golan… … …

Now that the U.S. is out of the peace-making business, thanks to Mr. Trump’s gesture to the Zionist settlers, he can begin preparing for a new kind of Middle East where he doesn’t have to worry about humanitarian issues or matters of conscience.

The locals of Quneitra province staged a protest to condemn the illegal Zionist decision to hold elections for the so-called “local councils” in the occupied Syrian Golan and express solidarity with Syrians in the villages of Majdal Shams, Masaada, Baqaatha, Ayn Qanya, and al-Ghajar.

The protest was organized by Quneitra Governorate and al-Baath Arab Socialist Party branch in Quneitra in front of the Governorate’s Building.

The spokesman for Iraq’s al-Nujaba Movement, a major Shiite resistance group, announced that the movement has formed a special brigade to liberate Golan Heights from the Zionist regime of Israel.

Speaking at a press conference held at the Tasnim News Agency central office on Wednesday, Seyed Hashem al-Moussavi highlighted the involvement of al-Nujaba forces in the Syrian government’s military campaign against foreign-backed terrorists and said they will not leave Syria until “the last terrorist” leaves the Arab country.

“After recent victories (in Syria), we have established the Golan Liberation Brigade,” he said, adding that the forces are well-trained.

He went on to say that the Golan Liberation Brigade is comprised of highly-equipped special forces, who have not left a region unless they ended a conflict there.

An Israeli court has handed down prison sentences to two Syrians living in the occupied Golan Heights for blocking an Israeli ambulance transporting militants operating in Syria for treatment.

The military court on Thursday sentenced Amal Abu Saleh to seven years and eight months in jail and a fine of more than 3,000 dollars, Syria’s official news agency SANA reported.

Bashira Mahmoud, the other Syrian, was sentenced to 22 months in prison. She was also fined 1,000 dollars.

According to the report, Israeli forces arrested the two along with 24 others in June 2015, when residents of the village of Majdal Shams blocked the ambulance and prevented it from transporting two injured terrorists with the Takfiri Jabhat Fateh al-Sham militant group, formerly known as al-Nusra Front.

The Israeli regime later released the detainees except the two. Bashira has been under house arrest since July 2016.

Sheikh Nazih Abu Saleh, Amal’s uncle, said the court ruling was “hostile.” He added that the residents of the occupied Golan Heights have the right to block the transport of al-Nusra terrorists for treatment in Israeli hospitals.

Golan Heights ~ The Israel Occupation Forces have targeted Syrian army positions in the northern Golan Heights, it confirmed Sunday.

A military source, from the Syrian Arab Army, said that the Israeli enemy continued to support terrorist organizations by attacking Mashati Hadar area, in the countryside of Quneitra province, with two rockets fired from a reconnaissance aircraft, causing material damage.

The mortars, which landed onto an open area in the Zionist-held area of the Golan Heights, did not lead to any damage, Israel said, without specifying the number of the shells fired.

Syria’s Permanent Envoy to the UN, Bashar al-Jaafari, said on Monday that it is not possible to end the suffering of the Syrians through political blackmail, but through combating terrorism, affirming that governments of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey must stop the support offered to the terrorist groups which perpetrate massacres against the Syrian people.

Al-Jaafari , in a speech at UN Security Council session on the humanitarian situation in Syria, said that ending the Syrians’ suffering would be through fighting terrorism seriously, similar to what the Syrian government is doing in cooperation with the Russian Federation and other friends.

Syria will do whatever it takes to take back the occupied Golan Heights from the Israeli regime, says Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad on Sunday, in response to remarks made earlier by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who claimed “the Golan Heights will remain in the hands of Israel forever”.

The UN demanded that Israel comply with the international legitimacy’s resolutions on the occupied Syrian Golan, particularly the Security Council resolution no. 497 of 1981 that declared Israel’s decision to impose its laws and jurisdiction on the Golan as “null and void and without international legal effect”.

The UN’s demand came during the General Assembly’s seventieth session held Tuesday at which the Fourth Committee (Special Political and Decolonization) approved a draft resolution on “The occupied Syrian Golan”.

Following the adoption of the resolution, Syria’s Permanent Representative to the UN Bashar al-Jaafari said in a statement that Syria maintains its right to restore the occupied Golan fully and with all legitimate means enshrined in the UN Charter and the international law.

He added that the UN member states’ support for the resolution sent a clear message to Israel that it is merely no more than an occupying authority and that its occupation and human rights violations are unacceptable and must end immediately.

The Syrian Armed Forces on Saturday morning stormed the 4th Battalion Base of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) in the Golan Heights and took full control over the base after fierce clashes with the FSA mercenaries.

At sunrise on Saturday morning, the Syrian Army’s 90th Brigade of the 9th Armored Division, in coordination with Fouj Al-Joulani (Golan Regiment) and Liwaa Suqour Al-Quneitra (Al-Quneitra Hawks Brigade) of the National Defense Forces (NDF), launched a counter-assault at the 4th Battalion Base outside of the town of Taranjah, resulting in a series of intense firefights with the Free Syrian Army’s Southern Front Brigades.

The FSA has now lost all of their previous gains from the September offensive that put them in position to attack the Syrian government strongholds of Khan Arnabeh and Hadar inside the Golan Heights of the Quneitra province.

Occupied Jerusalem ~ The Israeli authorities used Thursday night helicopters to transport 6 terrorists injured in Syria to receive treatment in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Israel Radio mentioned on Friday morning that a man in his 20s critically injured in Syria was transported by a helicopter belonging to the Israeli air force to Ziv Hospital in Safed to receive treatment.

Five other injured terrorists were carried on board an Israeli helicopter and taken to Rambam Hospital in Haifa, according to Israeli websites.

This was a step forward in the way used by the Israeli enemy to transfer injured terrorists to its hospitals, which followed the interception by the people of the occupied Syrian Golan of one of its cars carrying wounded terrorists.

The incident took place last June when a number of Golanese people blocked an Israeli car transporting two Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists.

The fact that the Israeli media now come clean on transporting the wounded by using helicopters reveals the scale of the continuous support provided by Israel to the terrorist organizations.

Two terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and Daesh-ISIL were killed Monday when heroes of the occupied Golan confronted a Zionist ambulance which was transporting them to receive treatment at one of the Israeli entity’s hospitals.

ISRAELI ATTACK AGAINST QALAMOUN AIMED AT UNDERMINING IRAN-POWERS NUCLEAR TALKS.

Media reports disclosed that the Saudi spy agency has had vast cooperation with the Mossad in the recent Israeli attack on the Syrian Golan Heights that killed six Hezbollah members and an Iranian General.

On Sunday, an Israeli helicopter struck Quneitra in Syria’s Golan Heights, killing Iranian military advisor Brigadier General Mohammad Ali Allahdadi as well as the son of slain Hezbollah top commander Imad Mughniyeh and 5 other Hezbollah members.

“Large-scale cooperation between Israeli and Saudi intelligence bodies as well as the terrorist groups in Syria has played a crucial role in monitoring Hezbollah’s movements in the Golan Heights,” the Palestinian publication Al-Manar reported.

The Saudi spy agency has cooperated the most with the Israeli spy agency, said the report, and added, “Saudi Arabia has been providing Israel with intelligence about the movements of the Syrian army and Hezbollah.”

It noted that Takfiri terrorist groups, specially the Al-Qaeda wing in Syria, Al-Nusra Front, have also helped Israel with the attack.

Syrians of the occupied Golan reaffirm commitment to motherland, Zionist annexing “null and void”

On the 33rd anniversary of the Israeli ominous decision, people of Golan affirmed, in a statement, their adherence to their Syrian Arab identity, asserting that the Israeli decision is “illegal and not worth the ink it is written with.”
