“The Turkish government has opened the border for tens of thousands of terrorists to enter Syria,” Bashar Jaafari told Sputnik.
The Syrian senior diplomat further accused Ankara of providing terrorists with arms, financing their activities, setting a camp for their military training on Turkey’s territory, and facilitating their access to chemical weapons.
According to Jaafari, terrorist groups allegedly inspired by the Turkish government robbed factories in Aleppo. The value of the loot is estimated to amount to tens of billions of US dollars.
Syrian envoy to the UN also rebuked Turkey’s did aggression into his country’s Afrin region, stressing that Turkey in its official statements refused to comply with the provisions of UNSC Resolution 2401 on cessation of hostilities in Syria… … …
Bashar Jaafari, Syrian Permanent Representative to the United Nations (Arabic):
“The attack on 8th of February in northern-eastern Deir Ezzor, that the alliance illegally undertook against the Syrian national forces that were standing against ISIS terrorists, I emphasize this, the region where the Syrian national forces attacked ISIS was under the U.S. protection, north-east of Deir Elzor.
It’s a strip with 30 km in width and 65 km in length. IS, which we fought and destroyed, left this Deir Ez-Zor and Abu Kamal, with the U.S. protection and positioned itself at Iraq-Syrian borders.
When IS was attacked by Syrian popular forces, the Syrian forces were attacked by the American Air Force, which proves again and without doubt, the real mission of this coalition and the role that Washington plays in supporting ISIS.
Like it did earlier by targeting Syrian national forces in air force attacks at northern Jabal Al-tharda near Deir Elzor, on the 17/09/2016, allowing IS to occupy these regions.
Not to mention the deliberate destruction of 90 percent of the city of Raqqa.
This coalition has not felt to uphold its commitment to neutralize tens of thousands of mines left behind by Daesh after they left the region to continue their terroristic services under two banners: American in east of Euphrates and Turkish in northern Afrin.”
“These [coalition] countries have abused the principles of the [UN] charter and they have defied its rules when they assisted terrorist groups and facilitated their acquiring of poisonous chemical weapons, to be used against innocent civilians… … …
Decision makers in Damascus said “Syria and its allies have decided to move more harshly against Israel, replicating Hezbollah’s strategy in those days (the 90’s), before the Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon.
For every violation of Lebanese airspace over the capital Beirut, Hezbollah would fire heavy artillery above the Israeli villages along the Lebanese-Syrian border”.
“The Syrian command and its allies have decided to impose a new rule of engagement on Israel: for every violation of Syria’s airspace, Damascus will fire dozens of missiles above the Israeli inhabited areas along the Golan Heights. The intention is not to hit a specific target but to make sure no Israeli on the borders and within range of the fired missiles will live in peace. They will be in the shelter, and this will happen every time the Israeli air force violates Syrian sovereignty”, according to the well informed sources… … …
~ Damascus air defence downed its first Israeli jet (F-16) ever, at a stroke changing the rules of engagement (ROE) with Israel and sending a clear message that it is ready for war and will no longer be silent on violations of its airspace.
~ This clash has triggered the mobilisation of the Syrian army and its allies in Syria and in Lebanon, the Lebanese Hezbollah.
~ The speed of the Syrian reaction was due to a prior decision taken at highest level among all allies operating on Syrian territory.
~ These consider a possible confrontation may be inevitable if Israel has decided to respond and declare war.
~ The violation of Syrian sovereignty is no longer an option open to Israel and the Israeli jets will no longer be able to carry out their usual promenades over the Levant without consequences… … …
Lavrov pointed out that “the Americans have taken dangerous unilateral steps in the eastern bank of the Euphrates River, which seems to be an approach for undermining Syria’s territorial integrity”.
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova affirmed that the US military presence in Syria poses dangerous threat to the political process and territorial integrity of the country.
“The US illegal military presence on the Syrian lands is dangerous challenge before realizing safety and security there and preserving its territorial integrity,” Zakharova said at a weekly press conference on Thursday.
She added that the US exploits the pretext of the chemical weapons to undermine the political settlement to the crisis, saying that the US seems to be depending, in the previous period upon infiltrating uncertain information by some sides and other topics without any confirmed facts.
The Spokeswoman went on to say that the US destabilizes the conditions in Syria and the entire region through supporting the terrorist groups… … …

Hezbollah is a social and political movement with a strong armed wing. It was formed in 1980s. Hezbollah’s creation was conditioned by the aspiration of the Shia population of Lebanon to meet the challenges of Israeli expansion and Western “new-style” colonialism.
An enormous arsenal of various weapons and production facilities, plus a fleet of explosive-laden and armored vehicles has been discovered inside the recaptured Islamic State stronghold in Deir ez-Zor province, RT reports from the Al-Mayadeen frontline.
Following in the footsteps of the Tiger Forces, commanded by Syrian Army Brigadier General Suheil Salman al-Hassan, nicknamed ‘The Tiger’, an RT Arabic crew managed to film a number of warehouses full of weapons that Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) hastily abandoned, fleeing the city to the eastern side of the Euphrates River.
“Weapons warehouses here were simply huge. I’m just shocked by the amount of weapons I saw,” Syrian Army Lt. Col. Rahmi Mauwas told RT at the battlefront. “There are hundreds and even thousands of weapons and ammunition of various kinds.”
Besides weapons allegedly produced by the US, Israel and elsewhere across the Middle East, the Syrian forces said they discovered that the terrorists also organized its own weapon production in the city. Various types of logistics equipment were also left behind by the fleeing terrorists…(read more)…
Locals in Al-Mayadeen have spoken of the horror of living with Islamic State after the terror group was routed from one of its last strongholds by Syrian and allied forces.
Footage shot on Sunday showed the city in ruins with huge caches of weapons left behind by feeling IS fighters.
Locals spoke of being thrown in jail for smoking one cigarette, having beard stubble or not wearing the correct clothing.
SOT, local resident (Arabic): “Nobody wanted to cooperate with ISIS. I had six days in prison for smoking one cigarette. This happened because they saw me smoking or smelled tobacco on me. For this reason they imprisoned me for 6 days. They had such organisation, like a morality police called ‘Hysba.’ They were imprisoning even for removing stubble from a face, let alone a beard! Not a beard, just single hairs of bristle. You’re not allowed to shave this part. Beards should grow in natural way.”
SOT, Reporter (Arabic):“How many times you’ve been arrested for your beard?”
SOT, local resident (Arabic):“Four times. Four times I’ve been arrested for my beard. Not because it doesn’t grow, but because it should grow. They arrested me, then whipped me, tortured me and gave me spoiled food.”
SOT, local resident (Arabic):“I was imprisoned twice because of the beard, and once because of the fact that I had pants on me, not a jalabiya [a long men’s shirt].”
SOT, local resident (Arabic):“ISIS militants took ten houses which belonged to my brothers. They’d been confiscating them. They just took our houses and lived inside them.”
SOT, military officer (Arabic): “We’ve searched the whole area, which was the main military depot of ISIS, it has underground tunnels and was full of weapons.”

Late on October 12, the Turkish Army started deploying troops and vehicles in Syria’s Idlib province. According to reports, at least 30 Turkish vehicles entered Idlib via the Atme border crossing and deployed in an area between it and Darat Izza town.
Some sources speculated that the deployment was coordinated with Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) that is the most powerful group in the militant-held Idlib province. However, this has not been confirmed by any evidence so far.
It’s interesting that the area of deployment allows Turkish forces to operate against both radicals Islamists in Idlib province and Kurdish militias in northern Aleppo.
Earlier, Turkish National Defense Minister Nurettin Canikli once again repeated that Ankara believes that weapons supplied to Kurdish-dominated US-backed forces in Syria will be used against Turkey.
In Deir Ezzor province, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) liberated Kusham Fawqani village and consolidated its gains north of Deir Ezzor. This allows to develop operations further in order to liberate Deir Ezzor city.
At the same time, government forces, led by the SAA Tiger Forces, further outflanked al-Maydin city and de-facto encircled it, according to pro-government sources. Clashes are ongoing in the urban area… … …

The Syrian Arab Army, backed by Russian air cover, is advancing against the mercenary-terrorist gangs of Daesh (ISIS, ISIL, IS) in the province of Deir-ez Zor. The terrorists are fighting to retain their last strongholds in the region. The newly-liberated village of Hatla, in the province of Deir-ez Zor, witnessed a particularly brutal battle.
While travelling with the Syrian army, RT exclusively witnessed first-hand how combing a liberated village can turn into a fierce fire-fight with Daesh.
Over the past week, Russian jets have intensified their sorties, conducting up to 150 surgical strikes against terrorist convoys coming into Syria from Iraq, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
RT’s Murad Gazdiev managed to get first-hand experience of the fighting as he accompanied the Syrian military across the only bridge over the Euphrates river in the area – straight to the frontline in Hatla village in Deir-ez Zor province. Gazdiev was standing just 500 meters from IS positions when the terrorists launched their assault, which started with an engine roar leading to fire from guns and heavier weapons…(read more)…

The Hezbollah (“Party of God”) movement was formed in 1982 in Lebanon by a segment of the Shia community displeased with the secular, in their view, nature of the Amal moderate Shia party. There were also disagreements concerning whether Israel should be confronted using new organizational forms and methods of warfare. According to its Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah, since its formation, Hezbollah was a purely intra-Lebanese creation, relying on the support and aid from the Palestinian and Lebanese parties, while the support from Iran and Syria came later.
Hezbollah leadership reviewed its concept of operations after the start of the Syria war. Before the war, the emphasis was placed on defensive ops in built-up areas with small units to inflict maximum troop and equipment losses on the IDF while simultaneously shelling Israel using large numbers of short- and medium-range rockets.
In Syria, Hezbollah realized that it had to wage offensive ops in cities. Therefore it reconsidered its training system, increased its rocket arsenal, and provided more heavy weapons and recon systems.
The first operation where Hezbollah took offensive using large units was the battle for el-Quseyr in May-June 2013. Some 1200-1700 best-trained Hezbollah troops took part in the battle. They were divided into 17 detachments, with later division into teams of 3-5 troops. Prior to the attack, the command performed recon of the city and its approaches, then divided the city into 16 sectors, one for each detachment. Each region had its codename… … …
Syria’s Permanent Representative to the UN Bashar al-Jaafari stressed that since the beginning of the terrorist war imposed on Syria, the Syrian Government has been keen on delivering aid to those who deserve it in cooperation with the UN and the affiliated agencies.
Speaking at a session of the UN Security Council on the humanitarian situation in Syria, al-Jaafari said:
“comparing the briefings presented by some representatives with other ones show that some of the representatives know what is taking place in Syria and they are following up the development of the situation there while others are depending mainly on sayings, allegations and intelligence and media disputes which give the impression that what is taking place in Syria isn’t related to combating terrorism and that there is a humanitarian crisis in Syria caused by the Syrian Government”.
He added that the Syrian Government, since the beginning of the terrorist war imposed against it, has been keen on delivering aid to those who deserve it in cooperation with the UN and the affiliated agencies based on the principles which organize the humanitarian work, indicating that Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Mark Lowcock committed a mistake today when he didn’t speak about the cooperation with the Syrian Government,
“as if OCHA is dealing with ghosts in Syria and not with the an existing government.”
Al-Jaafari affirmed that it is the time to acknowledge that the main reason behind the crisis is the emergence and spread of the terrorist organizations, on top ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra and the affiliated groups, in addition to imposing coercive unilateral sanctions on the Syrian people in a way that made their life difficult and increased their suffering on the economic, social, humanitarian and health levels… … …
Syria’s most powerful Islamic extremist force, Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham (Al-Qaeda Syria-HTS), Turkistan Islamic Party forces of Uighur East Indies gunmen, “moderate terrorists”, under the command of a number of US military intelligence agents, sought to change the battlefield morphology with a large-scale attack.
General plan of the terrorist force is: destroying the ceasefire agreement, conducting a major offensive, maneuvering dozens of tanks, armor, caliber artillery, hundreds of pickup trucks Syria’s northern Syrian army front line in the safe area under the Astana-Kazakhstan deal. The main purpose was to prevent the Syrian army’s attack on the battlefield of Deir Ezzor. But a key part of the plan is to take prisoners of 29 Russian military soldiers, who are tasked with overseeing the security of Idlib.
In this “hair-hanging” situation, with an important request not to let the Russian military personnel casualties, the commander of the Russian military forces in Syria, General Surovkin commanded the rescue team.
The relief forces are quite special, including the Russian Ministry of Defense Special Forces, the Russian military battalion with the majority of the North Caucasus troops (Chechen) and the Syrian Special Forces practice. Direct command of the battle was Major General Victor Shuliak, deputy commander of Russian military forces in Syria.
Remember: the North Caucasus soldiers are not only very good at fighting, speak good Arabic, but they are also assigned by the president of the Republic of Chesnya Ramzan Kadyrov. They are Sunni Muslim militants, Shia and absolutely loyal to Russia.. … …
Syrian armed forces supported by the Russian Air Force have regained control of 87.4 percent of the country, Russia’s military said, adding that Russian warplanes had destroyed over 96,000 terrorist targets in the course of the two-year campaign.
Since September 30, 2015, when Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the deployment of the Russian jets and helicopters to Syria at the request of the Syrian government, they have conducted more than 30,000 sorties, annihilating more than 96,000 targets, according to data cited in the publication.
Among the terrorist positions destroyed in the raids were 8,332 command posts, over 53,700 militants of terrorist groups, and almost a thousand training camps, as well as 6,769 oil and ammunition depots.
Since the launch of a two-year bombing campaign, Russian warplanes have inflicted serious damage to the oil infrastructure seized by IS, which is believed to be the main source of income for the terrorists.
A total of 212 oil fields and 184 oil plants and refineries that fell into hands of ISIS were destroyed by the Russian Air Force… … …
Russian warplanes and Syrian forces have repelled an offensive by jihadists in a de-escalation zone in Idlib governorate in Syria. The forces killed some 850 militants and destroyed 11 tanks and other assets, Russia’s General Staff reported.
The jihadists attacked the positions of government forces stationed to the north and northeast of the city of Hama. The positions are part of a designated de-escalation zone, which covers Idlib governorate, the powerbase of a number of anti-government armed groups in Syria, the Russian military said.
The report accused U.S. security services of instigating the offensive, which, the statement said, is meant to derail the successful operation of Damascus forces east of Deir ez-Zor.
The Russian General Staff said the militants tried to capture a unit of the Russian military police, which have a mandate to monitor the ceasefire in the Idlib de-escalation zone. The unit was forced to fight against a larger enemy presence for several hours, but prevailed thanks to the support of a local militia.
The General Staff said the jihadist offensive had been stopped. The militants’ estimated losses include some 850 fighters, 11 tanks, three infantry fighting vehicles, 46 armed pickup trucks, five mortars, 20 freighter trucks and 38 ammo supply points… … …
An official source at the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry has said that de-escalation zone agreements reached in Astana-6 meeting do not legitimize the existence of any Turkish force on the Syrian territories, adding that the Syrian Arab Republic government considers such existence “illegal”.
The source noted that the Syrian government deputized the Russian and Iranian parties to complete the final agreement on Idleb province as long as they are the two guarantor states of the Syrian side, pointing out that it is an opportunity for the Turkish side and Erdogan’s government which guarantee the armed terrorist groups to retreat from their position in support of terrorism and stop arming, financing and supplying terrorists and sending them to Syria which will help restoring security to these areas…………..

The Flemish Father Daniël Maes (78) lives in Syria in the sixth-century-old Mar Yakub monastery in the city of Qara, 90 kilometers north of the capital Damascus. Father Daniel has been a witness to the “civil war” and according to him, Western reports on the conflict in Syria are very misleading. In short: “the Americans and their allies want to completely ruin the country”.
Father Daniel: “The idea that a popular uprising took place against President Assad is completely false. I’ve been in Qara since 2010 and I have seen with my own eyes how agitators from outside Syria organized protests against the government and recruited young people. That was filmed and aired by Al Jazeera to give the impression that a rebellion was taking place. Murders were committed by foreign terrorists, against the Sunni and Christian communities, in an effort to sow religious and ethnic discord among the Syrian people. While in my experience, the Syrian people were actually very united”.
Father Daniel: Before the war, this was a harmonious country: a secular state in which different religious communities lived side by side peacefully. There was hardly any poverty, education was free, and health care was good. It was only not possible to freely express your political views. But most people did not care about that.”
Father Daniel: When thousands of terrorists settled in Qara, we became afraid for our lives. They came from the Gulf States, Saudi Arabia, Europe, Turkey, Libya, there were many Chechens. They formed a foreign occupation force, all allied to al-Qaeda and other terrorists. Armed to the teeth by the West and their allies with the intention to act against us, they literally said: “This country belongs to us now.” Often, they were drugged, they fought each other, in the evening they fired randomly. We had to hide in the crypts of the monastery for a long time. When the Syrian army chased them away, everybody was happy………………..

If you were a journalist in Libya during this time you were relatively safe; not because these animals respected journalists as neutral observers, but because the journalists were on their side. The Moriartys have evidence of embedded journalists, not least from Qatar-owned Al Jazeera, whose staff were among the terrorists from day one, personally calling in airstrikes and working side-by-side with the terrorists……………………………
